I seriously loved everything about this ottoman, and for the longest time, had it in my cart to buy. I wanted to justify the cost of buying it, since I'm not usually home often, but at the time - the ottoman was less than $200.00 brand new. When I finally decided to order one, the price went through the roof, and I lost my urge to get one. Still kept it in my cart, nonetheless. Then, I decided to get one that was "Like New" but used, and for $150.00! I decided it couldn't hurt, since if I didn't like it, I could always return it. The box that it came in looked like hot garbage, but the ottoman itself was still in it's original plastic wrapped cover, and the legs were factory sealed inside a box in the ottoman! I am very happy with this purchase and love the sturdiness of it, and it matches the color of my couch very well! I mostly use it as a foot/leg rest, but have two full size quilts in it, along with a few to throw blankets, and there's still plenty of room! The shocks on these guys are solid, and I clean it every day by lightly wiping it with a microfiber cloth with hot, soapy water. After months of use, it still looks as good as new!

Exactly the chestnut brown described ,seems well built although one side of lid is a bit out of alignment when it’s closed .. however this little annoyance is not enough of an issue to entice me to go through the work of returning the ottoman! Looks rather 👍
