STAEDTLER308 C2-9 Pigment Liner Black Chisel Tip 0.3-3.00 mm

Im using this nice pen to fill out hundreds of postcards in swing states from their friendly neighbors in Nevada. It is just what I needed.

Spring semester's final project in my literature course had us making our own comic books. These pens were not used the way Staedtler had probably intended they be used. I colored the entire background of every single page, pitch black. 16 pages in total (because I decided to also make a front cover—who ever read a comic book with no front cover?), and I ended up murdering five of these pens. Five pens for 16 standard sketchpad papers. The first five pages did curl, but the other 11 did not, so I'm chalking that up to user error.These pens will last a very long time if you are NOT coloring the entire page black. If you are coloring an entire page black, then I'd say each the pen can handle (depending on how much background you actually have) anywhere from 3-5 pages. Does not smudge, dries pretty dang quick, great for coloring right up against panels and maintaining straight edges. I highly recommend, Staedtler is always my go-to for fineliners and pigment liners. They never disappoint.

Simply put this is my favorite pen. I use It for taking notes in college. I use the thick side for titles and key terms, and the small side for my descriptions.

To the graffiti artists and ink sketchers, If you're wondering if this liner is priced too high and are on the fence I suggest getting one because you likely won't regret it. The chisel tip is brilliant because of how rigid and resilient it is when used on a big project or with rulers. The ink is OK and quite dark. Consistency is on point and the spectrum of lines is as advertised and the line width is easily adjustable with positioning and angle of the pen or hand when lining. Probably my favorite part about this pen is its ability to fill in and cover areas on rich black quickly and flawlessly while not losing stride as I line move along on an outline. It has a very satisfying way of smoothly gliding across the surface and maintaining a solid amount of ink even when going for super long stretches that span the page or outlines a piece without pausing or lifting which gives the notorious lift lines if not done with an immense amount of care. I reccommend this pen to character designers, tattoo artists and blackbook heads alike.

Good quality pen with good duration of ink. I use them for music writing - the italic nib is perfect.

Meine stark sehbeeinträchtigte Mutter schreibt nur mit diesen Stiften. Sie drücken sich nicht durch und sie kann aufgrund der Strichstärke gut erkennen, was sie schreibt (nur Sudokus).
