Cobbe Filtered Shower Head with Handheld, 6 Spray Modes, Water Softener Filters - Remove Chlorine, Reduce Dry Skin - Brushed Nickel

I have nothing but rave reviews for this product and this company’s customer support! The filtered shower head (high quality plastic) with real metal hose has lots of settings. It’s super easy to install, no tools needed, and comes with plumbers tape. This is the second one I have bought. We have extremely hard water where I live and I can definitely tell the difference in my skin/hair after using this for a while. But more importantly, Cobbe has FANTASTIC customer service. A couple of weeks after receiving my second purchase of the same shower sprayer, the inner tube (housed within the metal hose) burst while showering. Think of it like a bicycle tire inner tube. I went through Amazon’s Return/Replacement prompts and had the option of contacting the manufacturer, which I chose. They were 100% responsive and helpful in simply replacing the broken part (hose) which I received in a few days and I got followup calls and e-mails to make sure I was satisfied.

I’ll start by saying that I had to replace this item after a few days. I gave it 5 stars because it is excellent for what it is, but what it is is a low-flow shower head. That means it gives you -just- enough water pressure to get clean, but it is NOT a pleasant shower. When I purchased this, I did not understand flow rate. Please google that term before buying if you don’t know what it means. At 1.8 GPM, this is a slow flow rate, making it a water-saving shower head. This will save you money, and it’s good for the environment, but it is definitely noticeable in the water pressure and it was ultimately too frustrating of a shower experience for me to keep up with. Again, I’m giving this 5 stars, because it’s an excellent low-flow shower head as low-flow shower heads go. It looks nice, it’s SO easy to install and use, and the filter features work well. If they had a 2.5 GPM version, I would buy it in a heartbeat

I’m beyond happy with this product :) My skin feels so much better and my hair is softer. The install process took at least 5 minutes and the instructions were super easy and clear to understand. The brushed nickel color is very nice and feels very high quality. The durability is iffy to me right now as i’ve only just started using the product but it like i said, it feels well built and sturdy on my wall so im not worried about it one bit. The water pressure didn’t seem to change much from the last head i was using which in my case, im happy about. Would recommend this product to anyone searching for a high quality for the price filtered shower head!

UPDATED: Unfortunately, today in the shower, the hose attachment area started spraying water everywhere (not an area that I screw, but the actual hose) suddenly. I don't see how I can fix it as it's parts that aren't supposed to come apart. I'm contacting them on their website to get a replacement, but it's very disappointing. I can't recommend this shower head for the time being. Been using this shower head for about a week and I love it. Some reviews remarked on quality, but I feel like its is better than some at big box hardware stores for similar price point. The hose has nice weight to it, the shower head itself is lighter weight, which I personally like. I'm happy and feel like it's a great price for the quality. The hose is 60" long (I measured) and the water pressure is great. Easy to change the setting. Easy to install. We've had no leaking. On the filter bit making a difference - early signs say yes, but not sure about long term. I have super hard water. I feel like my hair looks a little less dull and curls are more defined. I also installed in a freshly cleaned shower and do not see any orangey buildup from minerals in the water around the drain I usually see after a week. In fairness, all of that could be positivity bias or factors like weather/humidity level but good start!

This has been a good solution to my hard water problem; Does it work miracles? No, but it improves the water enough that I feel it is not destroying my color treated hair. What I like about this shower head: It has a clean, streamlined style that looks nice even though it doesn’t cost much. Also, the filter is super easy to change out. Just unscrew the handle and put the new one in; With my previous showerhead, I had to install a bulky filter above the shower head unit and any leaks that occurred would spray the walls just below the ceiling. I have had no issues with leaks on this unit and I’ve been using it several months. However, if a leak occurred, no walls would suffer damage due to the design of this unit! They put some thought into this… Things you should know: It could reduce your water pressure somewhat. Also, some reviews mention breaks occurring when pushing the lever repeatedly to switch to a different spray setting; I recommend finding a setting you like and just leaving it there. I recommend this!

I tried the Cobbe Handheld Showerhead (Round), while not the most ideal choice i could have purchased, it was the most cost effective for me at this time. I made two attempts with this shower-head and the second is by far the best im gonna get on my budget. My first attempt i noticed the water filtration at work instantly, but the water pressure was so low to what im used to it just took longer to complete my shower as i take fast showers and lather my entire body; low water pressure will take longer to rise you off. — I found a solution after taken the shower head off the hose and notice a rubber O-ring with hole evening space around it, YEP, this was a built-in style water flow restrictor. so i used a dental tool and pried it out, then tested the shower head after reconnecting, i could instantly hear the difference of strong water pressure and the next day when i showered i could feel it too. made getting a shower much easier and faster. Now, there “might” be a downside to this … it unknown if the filter can properly filter water fast enough with the higher flow of water like it was prior at the slow flow rate. But so far it has, just is so-so with filtering the chloramine in the water using the Basic Filter. (might have to test the upgraded filter) Side Note: I will say it does a fair job at filtering “Chloramine” which since 2002 is what most city water uses to clean the water; it smells like chlorine but isnt really not anymore. Chloramine is a stable unlike chlorine so its much harder to filter, and since showers rely on warm/hot water use of carbon filters is not a good option even though they are most effective; since hot water destorys carbon filters quickly. The only thing ive found the works is using actived carbon granuals (little rock shaped) or using catalytic carbon. then it can manage with hot water but it still wont be as effective as with cold water and the lifespan will not last as long either.

Had to get my hands on this shower head because my eczema was getting worse due to the hard water. First use and I instantly felt the difference with the water quality, my skin was not feeling itchy and it felt more smooth. Also, the water pressure on the shower head is way better than my previous one. The value for the shower head is not bad, but I can’t say much about how durable it is until I use this for at least 3 months or so. Easy installation too, so you don’t need a professional to install it for you.

I really enjoyed the design of the filter. The spray pattern is nice and, so far, I feel like my hair is a little better (although I have no proof for how well the filter has worked on our city water.) That being said, the hose they sent for this attachment is absolute junk. Basically tinfoil. We've only been using it for a few weeks, and the hose has sprung multiple leaks. I tried to show in the video, we're losing a good amount of water from the rings in the hose. It's not running down from the head, as you can see that's angled out into the shower and does not drip at the attachment points. The water is shooting out from the ribbed links in the hose itself. The hose has done nothing but hang there since installation; so it wasn't damaged by activity, just defective. I don't want to return it since I do like the shower head, I just wish I didn't have to go research a better hose attachment to make this purchase worth it.
