We Saved You a Seat - Bible Study Book: Finding and Keeping Lasting Friendships Paperback – May 1, 2017

This is a great Bible study companion for women of all ages. I used this study to prepare myself for a one-night ladies' retreat at my church. The book is easy to read, but challenges viewpoints and hurts dealing with friendship. I would recommend this as a Bible study or independent study.

This Bible study is very good! Maybe not as deep as I would like to go, but it's good for a group

I did this study with a group of strangers that quickly became friends. Take a deep dive in what it takes to obtain meaningful relationships in all aspects of life. This study brings a lot of self reflection, hope and guidance.

We used this book for our military spouse bible study group and it was very good and relatable to our situations. Highly recommend this book and the writers of this as well. Easy to use and navigate and also allows for thinking and understanding.

Such a great study!

I'm almost finished with this bible study and I am the leader. I am leading this over the lunch hour at my work so I appreciate how quickly we can get through the videos and have time for a good discussion. I'm surprised that some reviewers felt this was for age 30 and below. The women at the table are from all walks of life. Some of the main points that stuck out to me was overlooking hurts, serving your friends, forgiveness. No, these are not new ideas, but I do think we need reminders. If you've read the whole bible then it doesn't contain "new" ideas either but the point is that when you study it over and over the Holy Spirit reveals something new to you. The same with this study, the content isn't revolutionary but it does prick your conscience on areas you need to work on. I loved doing this at work because I got to know Christian women that I did not know well before and I've been able to have conversations with them that I would not otherwise been able to help. I loved how freely everyone spoke about their experiences and we could laugh. Nothing feels better then another person saying"Me too, i've been there"This is an extremely easy study. I hesitate to take on a meatier study with exetensive homework. I believe some of the Beth Moore studies are rather in depth. This is perfect because there are only like 3 days of homework. It's less intimidating to those you invite to be in the study. And if you don't get to the homework, you can STILL get a lot out of the videos and the discussion. The home work is more like a supplement and doesn't guide the discussion. So it's nice that people can come guilt free. I wouldn't want that to be a deterrent. I highly recommend.
