Gro2Max Probiotic Supplement 3.5oz

I have been using Gro2Max for a couple of weeks for some ongoing diarrhea in my turkeys. It is clearing up nicely. I saw that someone had problems with it dispersing well in water, and I agree. I have had great results, though, by adding it to warm water then mixing it into their feed to make a mash; the turkeys really seem to like it on these very cold mornings in the cold Colorado Mountains. For me, it is worth the extra minute it takes to make the turkeys happy and address a problem that has been plaguing them since I got them in June.

I bought this to add to my chickens water to help treat sour crop. It works very well, but doesn't completely dissolve and there is some settling of the product. It is great for adding extra vitamins during molt.

I love this supplement for my chickens. I have been reading some studies about probiotics use in production chickens and have applied this to my backyard flock on my small farm. I do think that the theory makes sense, and I feel like my birds are healthier. I have also used this on my turkeys and peacocks, and also on my pig when she was sick a few weeks ago! I suggest using a probiotic on your flock, but I will need more time to gauge a change in laying or overall health. I have looked at and tried many probiotic supplements for poultry and I feel like this is the best one I have found. That is due to how it mixes with water and also the mix of strains in it. I did get a free sample of this probiotic from the seller via my poultry meetup group over a year ago, and used it on sick chickens and weak chicks over the past year or so. I decided to purchase it again after reading some studies on probiotics over a year later and looking at what is on the market.

Love the product, but when I received it from the seller, it was already two years into a three-year expiration date. Overall, a great product, just a problem with how old it is...

Started fermenting my chick food, so I no longer need to add probiotics as fermented food has fresh probiotics that form during fermentation. These supplements are dated and I found it hard to use up within the date with my small flock of poultry.

My chickens did not care for this. Smells awful. Cakes up in water as well. Better off offering them plain yogurt once in a while.

I have used this product for years. I have a hen that still lays and is over 7 yrs old and very healthy. I sprinkle this on oatmeal or when I give them any fruit or veggies that I can mix it into. I always purchase the large supply that is on Amazon because I don't want to be without it.

I bought some Gro2Max for my flock, to help with digestive issues, and the chickens have had no digestive problems since. I’ve also seen an increase in egg production from my hens. Good stuff!
