LEGO The Hobbit (PS3)

Lego el Hobbit me encanta el hobbit. Es un gran videojuego.

My mother is happy to have this once again. She hasn't gotten off the PS3. LoL.

Perfecto videojuego para los amantes de LEGO y el Hobbit. Casi infinitas horas de juego, personajes y escenarios muy bien conseguidos. Es el tercero que juego después de Harry Potter y El Señor de los Anillos, y ninguno me ha decepcionado.

Great for older gamers as well as kids.So far about 14.5% through story mode and it seems pretty big, with plenty of gaming still to go. Never even bothered with free play mode yet. One small complaint is that the game almost plays its self at some points, particularly with the cooperative moves, where you combine different characters abilities. Would be better if it wasn't quite as easy.However, it's still very playable and has plenty of variety to keep you entertained.

It feels like a lot more effort has gone into creating the game features in this episode of the Lego games. This seems to be a trend: Lego Lord of the Rings was considerably more complex than Lego Batman, for example.Lego: The Hobbit keeps the character wheel function used in Lego Lord of the Rings and makes it even more detailed, with new mithril items, and a host of new character functions and unique traits. Dwarves can now mine rocks - a fantastic feature, you can ride horses and wargs at will in free play, and the Lego building exercises are much more interactive, with the player actually selecting the correct pieces to put items together.All in all this is my favourite Lego video game to date, outdoing previous favourite Lego Star Wars with its overwhelming superiority of features and fantastic humour throughout.Unfortunately, it can't have a 5 star review from me because it's not the whole game - this was a massive disappointment, although predictable, as the game was released before the 3rd film from Peter Jackson was released in late 2014. As a result, the game finishes at the end of the 2nd film, and apparently the 3rd film will be released as downloadable content at some point. The game as it is still has the same number of levels etc as a normal Lego game, the problem is more about a sense of an ending.

Every bit as good as the best of the Lego genre games.Two things I'm not quite taken with is that they've added the 'build' tasks (first found with the 'Lego Movie' game) and also you have to complete all levels before free roaming is allowed around the huge map area.Neither, though, should detract from what is a very enjoyable game for all ages.
