Nice quality fabric with a good wide elasticated waistband not just a hemmed over version with a bit of elastic through, thus preventing it 'rolling' during wear.They fit nicely and are very similar in quality to the ones they were replacing which were bought from M&S. The picture though is a little deceiving, and they were very very short. More like gym knickers or these boy hipster pants worn as underwear. My daughter did not feel comfortable wearing them for PE so she is wearing them under her school dress and I still have to buy another pair for PE. Other than that they are very good shorts.

Nice material. My daughter has very skinny legs though and the leg holes are quite loose so you can still see straight up them when she sits down. So if your ordering them for under school dresses and your little one has bean poles for legs dont bother.

Bought these for my daughter who loves gymnastics, so she wears them under her dress to school so she can still do her cartwheels in the playground, she also wears them with her leotard for gymnastics she loves them. She has 3 pairs now.

great little shorts! p.e at school, running, cycling etc - wash & wear very well. they are elasticated enough to hold up well whilst doing sport and easy to move in. my 11 yr old loves them to bits!

Although they fit ok they are far too short! Not good for a girl s PE kit. The 1st and 2nd pics in the Amazon listing photos are misleading. Not happy
