Garden Lighting - Set of 10 Low Voltage Garden Pagoda Lights Complete With Transformer and Cable

This is a very good lighting kit, with a good length of cable - however there are a few things to look out for when installing them.1) Lay out the cable along your light path making sure that you have sufficient cable - I was surprised how quickly the cable dissappeared and each light requires approx 400mm of cable to go into the post.2) The middle black setion is a tight fit to put over the shade - put a thin smear of fairy liquid or soap round the rim of the shade and it will go on easier, assemble all the shades at the same time.3) Before you assemble the lamp holder to the post, check the contacts in the base of the holder are alighned correctly as sometimes they can be out of alighment and the contact pins will not puncture the cable to make the electrical contact.4) Might also be worthwhile checking the wires on the bulbs to make sure they will make good contact with the holder.5) It does require a fair force to push the post ( with the cable) into the holder to enable the light holder to make contact. If not careful it is easy to break the spikes in the base of the holder and also damage the bulb contacts in the holder.6) I found it easier to check the lamp works by assembling the post to the holder one at a time, once tested then fit the shade to the lamp, switch off the power again and move to the next one.Once installed the lighting kit is well worth it and much superior to the solar lights.

Good seller and easy to deal with. The lights look great now that they are installed. I had a bit of a fiddle with the first one but once that was assembled then the others were easy. Same applied to the fixing. It took a while for me to get the cable pierced but one I had done one the rest were easy.I would definitely recommend them as a low cost solution to lights in the garden.

Previously I had purchased a different make of set which is now ALWAYS out of stock. This was a value for money alternative with extra lights. Care in assembly and familiarity with the continuity testing needed to ensure good electrical contacts made this an easy and pleasant achievement. The only criticism is the strength of the plastic points that go into the ground, 2 of mine broke in what was hard ground. So my tips would be: 1. Pre-prepare the hole to avoid having to try and force it into the ground and 2.(although I haven't asked the seller) it would be nice to have a spare or two to recover from mistakes. Pleasing buy.

Ok it is quite hard to find an affordable garden low voltage light set and that is what this set is. Positives: they are fairly easy to put together as long as you get the wire across the pins. The light provided is fair, producing more of a yellow glow around the surrounding area of each light, this produces a nice focal point and will highlight a few plants in the dark or the edge of a path - and it will do this much better than most solar powered sets that I have seen. It wont brightly light up your garden though. The negatives: Fall to bits as you put the components together (not break just fiddly) As other people have commented the spikes are useless and not fit for purpose - which is an important part of this product. Even though I knew this and tried to be soooo careful, creating some holes in the ground first, several broke when placing them in the ground and several have broke since, not sure why? I will need to try and come up with a replacement solution as at the moment half of them are just lying on the ground. Very disappointing. I have not sent them back as it was just too faffy putting them in and breaking them. Though there is surprising little choice in the market I wont buy this type again and cant in all faith recommend them, sorry.

Have had these fitted in the garden now for quite a while and I'm really pleased with them. The instructions weren't the best but once you had fitted one you just replicated the process for the rest. When I switched them on half didn't work but realised the pins that puncture the power cable hadn't punctured at all so they couldn't get power to the bulb. Once I re punctured the cable all lights worked perfectly. They aren't bright but that's not a problem for me, they give off a lovely warm yellow light that illuminates borders and plants perfectly. We haven't used our harsh floodlight since we fitted them, we sit out in the garden alot more because of them as it makes the space a very tranquil and relaxing place to be. Love them

Arrived in a box that looked like it had been kicked around the warehouse for a month. All open on top where it hadn't been taped securely. Absolutely no packaging materials uses as in original box. 3 of the 10 plastic shades were warped so couldn't get the plastic "fins" on them. 2 of the groundd spikes were cracked which were visible just on opening the bag. The 30m cable was 28m long. Had a set of four of these that have been in the garden for almost 14 years and are se well made. DIssapointed that these are so very poorly made and the plastic is so thin. Be lucky if they last 14 months let alone as long as the originals. Most frustrating was that these were the final feature in the garden and a 30m gully had been dug ready for these. I ended up using hot water to soften the shades to shape them back to how they should be and made my own ground spikes as the flimsy ones sent, apart form being cracked, i doubt would go into soft butter. Wouldnt recommend at all........

Now all set up they are working fine but I wouldn't say they where easy. It took ages to get them working, the pins would not fit into the wire that was needed to make the connection for them to work. Spent ages walking backwards and forwards turning off electric and then going back to tweek them. Tops a really bad fit so ended up with a couple of broken bulbs due to the fact they kept getting knocked while trying to fit them on. Bulbs where almost impossible to put in when tops where on, you would need child like hands to get inside them. I don't know how long they will last as not as nearly well made as they ones I have in the garden already, they have been working perfectly for the last 10 years and have never needed to replace a bulb yet.

Die Gartenlampen sind sehr dekorativ und geben ein warmes, gelbes Licht ab, deshalb bevorzugen wir sie gegenüber den blau leuchtenden Solarlampen. Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit dem Kauf.

Das Material ist leider nicht gerade das Beste und für den Preis nicht angemessen. Wäre meiner Meinung nach eher um die €40,- Wert. Wird wahrscheinlich auch nicht so lange halten. Schon beim einstecken in lockeren (feuchten!) Boden sind 2 Halter abgebrochen.......

Genau soche Gartenbeleuchtung hatten wir jahrelang gesucht, da die ganzen Solarteile nicht das halten, was sie versprechen.Wenig Stromverbrauch(Erfahrungswert, da solche Lampen seit Jahern in Betrieb), Betrieb mit Schaltuhr möglich.Die Lämpchen sind auch in Autos verbaut, sodass man leicht an Nachschub für nicht mehr funktionierende kommt.

Alles wie beschrieben Lieferung erfolgt schnell und unkompliziert.Einfach zu installierenVerpackung ist in Ordnung. Ich habe nun nach 10 Jahren erneut die Leuchten bestellt

Danach hatte ich lange gesucht. Die Gartenbeleuchtung Pagode ist echt klasse. Sie ist einfach zu verlegen und gibt ein tolles Licht.
