these sleek tealight holders look as good in person as in pictures. glossy true black. they do show fingerprints pretty easily, so you may need to wipe them with a glass cleaner after handling.I've used 3 different brands of tealights and the widths were fine. as far as height, I prefer unscented 1/2" tealights (1.27 cm) with a 4 hour burn time. these tealights sit flush with the top of the holder, so you just see the flames. this look compliments the modern lines. scented tealights are usually a taller height around 3/4" (1.9 cm). that might be an advantage if you wanted the color of the tealights to match the decor or special occassion. for example, if you used red scented tealights on valentine's day, then the color red would show above the black holders.every surface of the cube is flat except the tealight holder indentation at 1/2". I like that the bottom is not hollowed out. it just makes it feel more modern, substantial and lux that way. I don't know if the entire cube is solid, but it is heavy. I'm not a crystal expert, but would guess that it is real crystal which is glass with lead. this feels like a quality product.the packaging is good, but would be even better if more sleek in style. it comes in a blue gift box with the emu blu name on it. the holders are safely inside with saffron yellow/orange silk type fabric around the individual spaces set in a solid mold. I like medium blue and saffron, but feel that a more stark color palette would better compliment the modern look.this would make a great gift. also I'll probably buy more sets to add because they look wonderful as a group arrangement. the staggered holder heights look really good, but 2x sets means that I would have the option of matching heights.

I absolutely love the elegant look at these tea light candle holders. I had some beautiful cacti tea light candles that I needed to highlight in my decor. Although a little pricey I did not regret my purchase. They arrived elegantly in a gift box and I couldn’t be more pleased. The gift box makes it a perfect gift for someone. These came in a set of four so you can set them in any configuration you want and are heavy and durable. They are unlike any other tea light candle holder and I would highly recommend the purchase.

These are very black and heavy for their size. They are clearly black glass. They hold a votive candle nicely. They are smaller than they look like in the photos. I'd say the largest one is about 2.5 to 3" wide. Nevertheless they are a nice addition to the table. They would make a nice gift as the box they come in is beautiful.

This candle holder is so cute. And it also make a cute gift the only thing is that I wish that would’ve had was like maybe like a plate or something like that in the bottom but for the price you can’t beat it a different like it

Overall, pretty and high quality and presentation box is great. They are definitely unique. After some consideration, I decided not to keep them. They are a totally opaque black. Light may flash off the surface, but you don’t get any 3D ply of light through the crystal. I was hoping for a little dazzle. Without it, they just seemed like a black box to me.

These are so beautiful and have a nice weight to them! Giftable, indeed! The packaging is conducive to that as well. I'm keeping them for me, though. Sleek, modern and black. Gorgeous!
