Great strong exhaust fan using with XTool Laser Engraver
I purchased this exhaust fan for the XTool laser Engraver. I previously has the 3in exhaust fan it was great but not nearly as strong.The 4in is slightly louder but not louder than the machine. You can control the speed and it pulls all the air out of the machine area with ease.Purchased 4in dryer hose + 4 - 4in clips & 1 - 3in clipWe used dryer hoses and a funnel from 1.5in -> 3in. Hooked up 2in black hose and clipped it down. Then 3in side (4in hose) from the funnel to the fan. Then hooked top side of fan to hose and out a drilled 4in hole outside.Either one will work, I do recommend to use an exhaust fan to help! We don't have an air purifier addition. We've used this method on all types of materials from wood to leather to acrylic.
