Its light and thin design results in a noticeably rigid surface, which might initially challenge those accustomed to a more tactile response, especially during delicate shots that demand finesse and control. However, its real prowess shines in aggressive play. The paddle’s lightweight nature contributes to an enhanced speed, adding an intimidating edge to your shots near the kitchen line. An interesting aspect to note is the distinctive high-pitched sound it produces during play. Ironically, despite its lower price point compared to my previous high-end carbon fiber Selkirk paddle, it aligns more seamlessly with my aggressive playing style. My switch to this lighter paddle was initially driven by wrist discomfort experienced with my former heavier paddle.
