Light power for light jobs, at a light price.
I have been a draftsman for the last 30 years. Back when I got started in that career, we did many of our drawings with pencil and used electric erasers all the time, as AutoCAD (computerized drafting) was just getting started. Those electric erasers were corded, big and heavy. But they had the torque and power you needed to get the job done quickly and easily. This small cordless one is a bit of a let down for me. But it does work, if you don't bear down with too much pressure. Which is what it was made for: light erasing. I was just expecting more torque and power. But for the price, it does a fine job. I guess maybe the more expensive cordless electric erasers would work better. Another case of you get what you pay for. So if your needs are light, at least you won't loose much money by trying it, and it may be all you need.

Great
I already had read some reviews about this eraser in the amazon.uk which were really goods, they all said that the product works really well, especially for the price, and altought the eraser is a little delicate, nothing that really matter, after all, even if it fall and break, the cost was so low, that worth it.I live in Brazil, and here we don't have eletric erasers, so we need to import them. I just draw for hobby, so I didn't want to risk buying the Sakura eletric eraser 'cause of the high price (the dolar is expensive now) and the risk of international delivery (our mail isn't very good), so I went with the Jakar. And I didn't regreat, the eraser is really good, it feels confortable in hand, the weight is good, it's really easy to use and works fine for my purposes. I'm really happy with it and recomend it to everyone who wants a good eletric eraser but don't want/can't pay much for it! =)Sorry for any grammar and spelling mistakes!

Must Be A Better One
Eraser keeps popping out of the container. I do not recommend.

Funky little tool, very handy
Comes in very handy, and erases quite cleanly on graphite and coloured pencil drawings. Eraser tip is small enough to erase in awkward spots and is quite accurate - the tip rotates but doesn't wobble, so you can aim it quite well. The first batteries I put in have lasted about 7 months of fairly heavy use, and I've gone through about five eraser tips in that time. I use it in addition to putty and the 'normal' school-type erasers - I make a *lot* of mistakes when I'm drawing...

Excellent artist's tool spoilt by difficulty replacing erasing part
5 stars on ease of use, value etc but overall 3 stars because changing the erasers is fiddly, the switch can fall out and I found it impossible to rebuild. At under £3 you could regard this as a throwaway tool, who h is a waste and a shame. Operates efficiently and accurately where manual erasers erase to much and being large obscure the view of what is being erased

Does the job
Fantastic for erasing small lines, works on even colour pencils. It is lighter than other electric erasers and definitely good value, re-fills also cheap. Can't specify a colour, but I received a blue one, which is nice, and it has been running strong and hasn't broken yet! So thumbs up from me.

This will improve a drawing in seconds!
As an artist, I use this to create small highlights which give my drawings so much depth which is perfect for any artist with any drawing experience and talent. One place this electric rubber fell short is the quality of the motor as after only 6 months of use, the motor began playing up and there would be times where the rubber would work or not.Despite this, the rubber fits perfectly in your hand and is very comfortable to hold when rubbing out for detail.

Precision erasing
I bought this for my son who is forever writing huge paragraphs and then realising he has made a mistake. When he tries to rub it out he usually ends up rubbing out a whole word when he only wanted to get rid of one letter. This battery one is fantastic! You can rub out the tiniest mistake without interfering with the rest of your work. Perfect for if you've gone over the lines on colouring too! Would recommend this!
