Laptop Table Adjustable Black

Average
I bought this as my bed table for my 2 in 1 laptop (acer switch 5). Initially was a bit hard to get on the angle you want . If you are keeping for 1 fix angle then is fine but if you keep changing it for different places and different angles then you will get tired adjusting it all time. You definately need the instructions paper to see the desired angle you want otherwise you could spend more than 5 min time in adjusting and balancing. Quality build of the stand is plastic but the plate to support the laptop or table is aluminium. In my opinion i will say it does the job and will rate the product as average good

Simplistic design and overall greatness
I live in Malta and I got this delivered within 5 days from the date of purchase. The quality is well worth the price, and I would admit that it exceeded my expectations.I use this as a laptop table for my 17.3" laptop that weighs around 4 KGs. This was excellent for my needs, I keep this table close to my other table that holds a 27" monitor, keyboard and mouse. I tried using the mouse on this table (definitely with a mouse mat, as optical mice do not work very well on glass or glossy surfaces), but I personally found it a bit awkward, because after placing the huge laptop :), there was not much room for the mouse. However if you are planning on sitting on your couch and using your laptop or tablet (iPad, Galaxy, Transformer, Nexus or anything), then this is a must have! The quality is good (although be advised that it is pretty heavy and you should always try to lift it from the base if you plan on moving it around a lot, because if you try lifting it from the top glass, all the weight might add stress to the joints and cause the screws to break free) and this table adds to the decor.I am extremely satisfied with it.

and the general design means it slides nicely under an armchair or sofa
Have found this desk invaluable. Admittedly use it frequently for other tasks (eating included, but always with a mat) including being my Christmas tree stand this Christmas! The adjustable height means you can get it just where you need it, and the general design means it slides nicely under an armchair or sofa. Has really made craft designing on the laptop much more comfortable. Being mostly glass it isn't the lightest thing in the world, but being petite and suffering from chronic health problems I am still able to lug it around on my own and even get it up or downstairs. Really worthwhile purchase.

It's very sturdy and I love that it has a thin base ...
I was worried that maybe this stand would wobble a bit when typing on the laptop but far from it. It's very sturdy and I love that it has a thin base that slides under the sofa so the laptop is i a very comfortable position. Also, I have a low sofa but the adjustment option on the stand is great - no problem there at all. If you use a USB mouse rather than a trackpad then this may not be quite wide enough for you (I use a 15" laptop). It would fit on the side but it wouldn't leave much room for manoeuvre. I don't so this stand is absolutely ideal. As for construction, I don't DIY - everything I touch falls apart - but this was a breeze. 8 small screws and an height adjuster - didn't even need to look at the instructions.

Check what you are ordering!
Not quite as good as I thought it would be. A bit unstable times. A bit is my own fault as I thought I had ordered a larger one, (one with four leg sections) as I wanted it for my disabled wife to use while sitting in her armchair. As I said, my mistake as I thought it would be bigger than it was. As if happens I am still able to use it for my iPad.

Exactly what i wanted
If like me you have a pretty beefy laptop which is both quite large and heavy (XPS 17) and want a table for it to sit on then look no further. Its adjustable, so I can make it the perfect height for me when sat on the couch, the base is also flat so you can shuffle it UNDER the couch to it is literally right in front of you, but not on your lap!Brilliant! My only negative is that the first table arrived with missing screws, so i sent it back and amazon dispatched another same day, and this one is fine. But i wont remove any stars for that as it could happen to anyone.

Great table at a great price, one slight niggle though
Arrived in two days and took about 5 mins to open and set up. Hardest part of the set up process turned out to be opening the package. Table looks great (very stylish and feels well made) and the adjustment of height takes seconds so very handy for finding the right height and adjusting for when I move it around or switch seating position.I wanted to give this product 4 1/2 stars (but couldn't so gave it a 5 since this problem will probably only effect a few and barely effects me) as I've found that it feels a little unstable when I have my 17.3inch laptop (and very heavy) on top of it. This doesn't really bother me as I slide the base under my armchair when I'm typing (large base means that if pushed forward the bottom of the armchair would stop it from falling far enough forward for the laptop to fall off) but it does mean that I don't feel it's particularly safe to just leave lying around. I live with three flatmates and given the clumsiness of both them and me I take my laptop off the table when I leave the room. My flatmates have smaller laptops (macbook pro and a 14" HP laptop) and they have both been used on the table and it feels solid as a rock and would need a heavy push to knock it over (very heavy push) so I think it's just my very large and heavy laptop and the fact that it takes up most of the surface area of the table leaving it with an unstable feeling.Another thing to consider with this table is that due to it being glass the heat from the base of my laptop can make the glass very hot and that passes through to the base of the glass. No concerns with the table breaking due to most glass having a melting point of 1500f (and if my laptop reaches that then I have bigger problems). But can get annoying if I have the table low enough to be touching my leg. I've got round this by picking up a laptop stand, they sell cheap ones on Amazon or you can pick one up from ebay. I got mine from poundland for...well for a pound. And it does the trick, just by lifting it off the glass by an inch the glass remains cool so I can have it touching my legs if I wish. This is also a good idea anyway because most laptops have inadequate ventilation if airflow is restricted so a base mount for your laptop could help prevent further issues down the line (lost my last laptop to serious overheating). In summary the table is great looking and allows me to sit all night typing in my armchair. The delivery was prompt and the product arrived in flawless condition (couldn't see any scratches or scuff marks). Very happy with my purchase and I hope this review has been helpful.
