VIVOSUN Automatic Chicken Coop Shutter Door

Everything that comes from China has really poor instructions and so does this item but it works except for the remote control that doesn't work plus it works as a timer and has a sensor for dusk and Dawn but I'm not sure if Dawn works yet but dusk does work the chickens are in before the door closes. The timer I'm not sure even how to set the clock for the timer because there are no instructions for it but again it's from China so you can expect very good instructions. I have some American made things that are junk as well usually the instructions are better. It's not about quality anymore it's about money and profits shame I remember when quality used to be important but not anymore.

The solar panel broke after a week and the cord is way to short and no easy way to contact customer service providers for this product

Finally a coop door that looks nice and functions well. Couldn't be happier!

Got this to replace a slider style coop door as this door has no holes in it for the gear required for the slider style.Got to say I am pretty disappointed...Minimal operation instructions and ZERO installation instructions.Cord connecting solar panel to door is far too short and where it plugs into unit is a great peck toy for the chickens.Remote works when it wants to: when closing with remote 9 out of 10 times there is a false "chicken in the way" error and you need to press button 2, 3, 4 times to get door closed.I really wanted to like this door as the form factor is nice and clean. If shortcomings were addressed this would be a great product.

I like this roll up door much better than my slide up door. With a slide up your surface has to be perfectly smooth or it will get stuck. This chicken door was easy to install and works more smoothly on my coop than my previous one. Happy chickens!
