ASICS GT 2000 08 Running Shoe Road for Man

I am normally a size 8 and a half. Usually I have footwear from Clarks, Skechers and Nike all 8.5.I decided I needed new running shoes and due to lock down couldn't go to local running shop for help, so read reviews on running shoes. These got fab reviews so I just needed the size. Very helpful people on Amazon gave answers to try and help me. I then went to the Asics website which has a helpful tool called which size fits me. It asks a few questions and you tell it a pair of shoes you have already that fit well. I put my Nike Pegasus in which are 8.5 size. I did the size guide software got to the end and it says true to you (as in me) size 8.5. So Ordered this size! Man it was wrong! However Amazon as usual were helpful and I swapped for size 9 which are a much better fit. For me Asics are a half size different to the other makes I have been buying for footwear. If like me you buy the makes I do then go half a size bigger for Asics. Now I am a happy bunny with bright blue running shoes. I'd have liked red my fave color but these seem hard to get so I went for the blue as they still looked like they'd stand out! They are comfy and firm. On my feet anyhoo! I'd highly recommend these :-)

I found these on the tight side and the tongue was longer than other trainers. They were not as comfortable as my others. I am used to wearing thin trainer socks and these cannot not be worn with these trainers. You will need a thicker sock that comes further up the ankle.I was of two minds as to whether to keep them or not.They are a good quality but as I was doubtful so I decided to return them.

shoe is high quality with good grip and comfort, the shoe is slightly bigger than the size listed however this is perfect as many runners know you need a little toe space to protect your nails from impact. I would suggest walking a few miles with these to let them break in, I was too eager and ran with mine right away and it made my heels very sore. Perfect value for money! Always stick with Asics

I have bought several pairs of Asics Gel Kayano and loved them. I use them primarily for walking the odd run. However these trainers I found that after 2-3 miles of walking my heels were getting really sore and the trainers are not supporting my heel. Unfortunately cannot return them as I have used outside. Disappointing but others may say different. Maybe I am too heavy

Ordered to replace a pair of Gel Cumulus 19 which were quite simply awful. Great stability, fit and comfort-took a 10 km run on first outing without any problem. And unlike a lot of the new wave of ASICS runners, these fit as per your size; I’m a 10 and these are perfect. Finally, they’re we’re about 1/2 the price from Amazon compared to a large, well-known department store. A perfect trainer for gym and treadmill use.

Really impressed by these running shoes .Very comfy and great on long runs .I have been running in ASICS Gt2000 for years and I have always found them great , however some models especially the series 4 and 6 have been of very poor quality and fallen apart after a few months.I am hoping these prove more durable

I'm using Asics from 2015 it's amazing. Great comfort, great cushioningOut of all latest brands in the shoe industry I feel Asics is the best. They have the best cushioning.Got delivery in 2 days that's amazing even though I'm not a prime member thta's the beauty of Amazon delivery too.Can't wait too order more products soon

Great for my runs, though the heel seems to wear quite quickly.
