Good quality and weight. Too expensive, but I managed to grab it on sale for less than $20. It wasn't especially well packaged, the box was basically torn in two by the time it got to me, but the bar was undamaged, so it seems pretty durable. I am using the bar in combination with resistance bands. For certain lifts it helps to overcome the initial slackness of the bands, adding some load at the shortest bands lengths and thus tension to the full range of motion. It's heavier than a 60 in. Olympic barbell, and obviously shorter than a full-length bar. Also, it is very thick compared to a normal bar, which I like (I frequently use fat grips on thinner bars). That said, if you have the space and already have an Olympic bar in the garage, then I would just stick with that. This is convenient for me, living in an apartment without much space for equipment. This bar is great for adding a some load to a squat or lunge. As alluded to above, can add a little load to banded curls, rows, and presses. I need to find some other uses that are unique to this type of bar. I wouldn't pay $60 for it, but it was a bargain at less than $20.

I love this bar for weight training. I used one in a fitness class years ago & always wanted one bc I didn’t want to deal with adding free weights to a bar. This is perfect for my morning workouts. I especially love the padded bar for easy gripping.

I purchased the 30 pound Weighted Bar(Which so far is the heaviest one they at this time offer.) I LOVE IT!!! Their are plenty of exercise movements you can do with it. Since I have lower back problems. Instead of using my Squat Rack, I have been using the Weighted Bar to both improve my squat posture, as well as, eliminating the risk of getting hurt with putting too much weight plates on the squat bar rack. Using this Weighted Bar is the better option for me to perform squats for now. Until my lower back in the future will hopefully get better. Then I would be able to use the Squat Rack again. Anyway, in this short review: I'm glad I purchased the 30 pound one. Various exercises can be performed with it, such as: Curls, Squats, Balancing, Etc.... EXCELLENT!!!

I think this bar is great. The outside layer is soft and comfortable. I got the heaviest size available 30lbs. It's heavy but not too heavy for me. I've been doing cardio for year's but lost a good amount of muscle tone. This is very helpful because the weight is evenly distributed. My only complaint is about the packaging. It was packaged in a thin cardboard tube. You can tell it was being taped over and over. During shipping because it kept falling out. When I picked it up the bar fell completely through the tape and the cardboard. After opening it up. I saw all the cosmetic damage it had on the ends. A lot of scratches and dust/dirt. I try to keep my equipment nice and clean. So getting a new item with so much damage due to careless poor packaging is disappointing.

I read the reviews and saw all of the pictures of the bar being damaged. It nearly detoured me from getting the bar but I really wanted it. I took a chance on getting the bar in perfect condition and I’m glad I did! I really like this bar. It’s weight is pretty spot on at 30lbs. My scale says it’s about 30.2 lbs but it could just be my scale. No fooling around with plates, woo-hoo! It’s comfortable to use due to it being padded. You can store it anywhere since it’s just a sleek bar. I will most likely buy a couple more in different sizes. Highly recommend!

iba a comprar esta barra en USA pero vi que la tenían disponible en amazon mexico. la pedí en línea y resulto espectacular para hacer sentadillas normales, jacks squats, sumo squat, cursty squats, good mornings y lunges. Muy recomendable para exigirte más sin exagerar, son solo 13.6 kg la de 30 libras.

Colis arrivé dans les temps, Totalement détruit. L’article quant à lui est annoncé à 13,06 kg et après l’avoir pesé quatre fois sur deux machines différentes 13,5 kg… Le plus regrettable, c’est que la barre est arrivée abîmée… Dommage…
