amazing book
for a couple of years, late 2015 until mid-2018, i took many different energy healing classes from Marsha Craven in Glendale AZ (she retired in May 2018). she has been a clinical medical hypnotist for 45 years, but i didn't realize how hypnosis fit into her energy healing workshops and methodologies until reading this book.i get the sense now that hypnosis was embedded in and wedded to all of her energy healing instruction. i had no idea there was a connection between them, but the first page of this book began a roadmap of insight into what Marsha was doing and why she was so effective. i have only read this book--book 2--but immediately purchased all of the other books, and will also reread Marsha's workshop materials to glean the connections.don't get me wrong, energy healing is distinct from hypnosis, i believe, but my impression is that they must lie on parallel paths and enhance each other. i am blown away, by the implications of the word 'now'. had that been all i got from this hypnosis book, it would have been watershed.since i have mentioned energy healing, i will list a few of the classes, uncertain of how many cross over with hypnosis but i suppose they all might. definitely the DNA class which uses commands to allow the body to heal itself. other energy healing classes are: Reiki, Cranial Sacral Balancing Therapy (CSBT), Reflexology, Chakras, Cranial Neural, and several others i cannot recall right now.this has been a very instructive book for me. starting with book 3, however, the presentation has become too flippant and 'jargon'ey to follow, so i lost interest. what appears to have happened is that previous information presented is presumed to be 'absorbed' and is back-referenced as a given, which isn't the case for me. i purchased all nine or ten books, so i might start spot-reading them to glean bits and pieces. this hypnosis stuff is good to be aware of, and i am happy to have all of the books as a reference to stick a big toe in. the conversation needed to continue to go forward in a baby-steps format for me to be able to keep up and dog-paddle through it. have i recalled correctly the author saying that those who don't have knowledge use analogies? that would be me right now with this review. nevertheless, i am offering my thoughts, as usual, using analogies.

Get the whole series
i have written one review for all 8 of the author's books. in order to avoid redundancy, i am only going to post my review on the very first book's amazon page and leave this note as a link on the others.if you're going to buy the books, buy them all. you really do need to read them all to make sense of the information, even though the author insists the books are stand-alone. no, they are not. what i have written above can help you fit the information into its proper order, and from there learning to do hypnotism with only this series is very much possible if you PRACTICE A LOT and follow the instructions the author gives you in the series.4 stars. would be 5, but my gripes are such that i spent an inordinate amount of time rereading the info and mindmapping it in order to make full sense of it. the author writes a LOT, and practical hypnosis requires simple understanding and quick execution, which is defeated by the series' verbosity.for the rest of my review, see the very first book in the series.

Must-have reference...
I've read many hypnosis books over the span of about 50 years, and this is perhaps the best I've ever come across. It clearly and concisely presents a very large number of trance inducing/deepening words and phrases, and provides them in a very easy to access format. If you're trying to learn hypnosis, or improve your skills as a hypnotist, you'll find this to be an invaluable reference which you'll refer to again and again to sharpen and improve your skills. If you're considering creating your own self-hypnosis scripts, the information this book contains is exactly what you've been missing and have been looking for up until now. The information contained in this volume will allow you to produce much more powerful and effective phrases which will take you to deeper levels of hypnosis and remove any and all resistance you may have previously noticed, which means your scripts will be more powerful, and you will see results much faster than ever before. This is an excellent reference of hypnotic words and phrases, which includes explanations of why the words and phrases are hypnotic which makes it easier to remember and assimilate them into your everyday language as desired. Highly recommended...!

Look Hear Because You’re Mined
This is NOT the usual dross, information is delivered in an easily understood progression of clearly described and highly effective words, phrase, patterns, and best practices. Written with a seemingly familiar voice knowledgeable, experienced, humble. Looking forward to the next confession.

Read and Reread...many useful language patterns.
I write a lot of reviews and also write pulp fiction. Therefore, I am always looking for ways to improvemy skills. This series is slammed full of useful tips and advice,in the use of certain words and word construction.Yes, there are many ways words can get people intoa mind set, were you can influence them.I see the nay sayers out there, shaking their heads, deadset against any such suggestion/ suggestions. The simple fact that they even take an aggressive, wide legged, cement footed stance, like that, means theyare a wee bit worried about the topic. As, they should be.Because, it is being used every minute of the day.

Outstanding, fast, in depth to practicality
This one is bettet edited and better organized than others in this series. The earlier books clearly had more effort and care than the latter ones, or the author likes to make underhanded assertions more in 2016 than earlier. This book is a keeper even if just for the insults to Richard Bandler and the NLP circus.

Excellent educational read!
Over the past forty odd year's I have read many books about hypnosis and NLP some I have found real hard work understanding and getting to grips with. I have enjoyed reading and being educated by the way this has been written, a pleasure to read and easy to follow right to the end. I will be putting a lot of the reading into operation very soon.
