Obviously so long as like me you've already bought into the makita xlt battery system... if you had to buy batteries and chargers it would be less economic... but for someone that already has other tools in the family this is an affordable and very useful addition

Not like the song - shine bright like a diamond!
This is okay. It’s not as bright as hoped. Does what it should do - just a shame it’s a) not brighter b) not suitable for multiple scenarios ie capability to put anywhere. Magnetic/adaptive.

Get an led bulb!!
Excellent lamp!Especially with an led replacement bulb a 5w bulb will last about 10 hours on a 5ah battery!!Awesome kit!

No longer works, within a week of use. The delivery guy chucking it over my back fence probably didn’t help☹️ Didn’t even knock might I add 😅

Unsere Dritte, da wir die jetzt überall verteilt haben. Macht ein sehr gutes helles Licht, robust und sehr gut zu handeln. Durch die Maschinen meines Mannes sind Akkus im Überfluss vorhanden für Taschenlampe, Staubsauger und Co natürlich von Makita........

Durable light.
This light got 4 stars initially, the battery consumption wasnt great but its not an LED. I recently bumped it to 5 stars because of durrability. I left it on the trailer of a semi and drove away. The light fell off and the head of the light came off. Battery and handle were still together. Snapped the head back on the handle and its still working! Speed of fall was around 45 mph.
