Why did you pick this product vs others?: Because it was what I needed

I ordered many stainless fittings and pipe nipples, they looked pretty good, but it took me a number of months to build my system and when I finally got it built and pressure tested, it was beyond the open return window. All of these stainless fittings leaked like a sieve; all junk. They look great, but their threads do not have adequate taper to seal pressure tight, even at 50psi test pressure. I had to replace them all, and could not return for refund as it was beyond the time limit. Now I am stuck with thousands of dollars worth of stainless fittings that are junk and cannot be used. They are defective at their design level and their inadequate QC did not catch these defects.

this solved a recurring issue i was having where a PVC tee would split anytime i threaded in my hose bib. Probably a defective bib as i have PVC on other connections without issues. however, this is a very nicely machined 304 stainless TEE that went together great and doesnt leak.

Nice quality stainless steel tee. If it starts to rust down the road I'll come back and modify my review. But for now five stars.

These are just what I needed and appear to be well made. But customers need to know that leak-free SS to SS threaded connections are problematic. The SS is harder than brass or steel and prone to galling. Using only the thin white thread tape is likely to produce some leaks. In my experience, thick gray thread tape AND pipe dope were needed to get reliably leak-proof connections.

These fittings do not have an NPT thread as advertised, it is a straight or parallel thread. I just wasted hours trying to rectify a leak then measured the inside diameter at both ends of the thread. Do not buy these for regular plumbing work.

Very durable good product for the money.

Not yet installed for worry the T may not work for 5000 psi ?

This is not a schedule 40 fitting and the threads are loose meaning you could bottom out the nipple or pipe before its tight.
