I absolutely love this canopy bed—it has completely transformed the look of my bedroom. The design is elegant and sturdy, and the canopy adds a cozy, stylish feel without overwhelming the space. The frame feels very well made and stable, and it was easier to assemble than I expected. Best of all, it makes no noise at all—no creaking or squeaking, even when moving around. My husband and I LOVE our new bed! It seems very sturdy. He’s 240lbs and I’m 150lbs and even when it starts a rockin’ it holds up well. You can use it with or without a box spring which I like. We use our box spring and it looks great and it doesn’t slide around. My husband just gets a kick out of seeing me leap up onto the tall bed like a little kid. I’m 5’4” so it might be hard to get up onto it with the box spring if you’re smaller or have mobility issues. I used 3 sheer curtains along with two strands of the tiny wire curtain lights that have 8 settings and our bed looks fabulous. The instructions were pretty simple to follow once you figure out their rhyme & reason but it did take us a second to decipher. We put it together in less than 30 minutes and we had so much fun doing it! It took me WAY longer to figure out how to DECORATE the canopy than it did to put the bed together. It’s very good quality for the price. I’m even loving the little rubber mallet they give you to tap the pieces into place. I used the mallet to pound in some anchors into the walls and it worked like a charm. Anchors always break in our walls when we use a regular hammer but not with the rubber mallet! It’s an added bonus that I’ll probably use for other things. The box is super heavy so you need two people to carry it but I was happy about that because it meant that the bed would most likely be sturdy. I’m so pleased with the outcome. I was able to purchase our new bed and decorate our canopy with the fabrics and the lighting for about $200 total. My husband loves it too despite him being such a manly man. I think his exact words were “ooh our own private honeymoon suite!” Which was cute since we’ve been married for 26 years. Both of us think it is a great product for the price and it was really fast shipping! We’ll have lots of fun for years to come in our new bed!!!!

Of well over 100 pieces of furniture I've put together in the past 20 years, including at least 50 bookcases(all mostly the same steps) this was by far the easiest construction I've ever done. Directions aren't even needed, a picture here and there to make sure nothing is upside down or backwards and match the stickers is all it takes. Only 2 types of bolts, and one is only used in one step, the rest are the other. They were even smart enough to put the steps in such an order that no second person is needed to support things whole attached at both ends. No tools needed whatsoever not a hammer or a screwdriver, and they went the extra mile in addition to supplying a nice mallet for the rails(nothing else needs tapped but top and bottom rails) they even supply a ratcheting Allen wrench/hex key so the most annoying part of everything using that sort of bolt is a non-issue. Put together alone in a space less than a foot longer and wider than the final bed, and likely didn't even need the extra space. It's super sturdy unlike all the other metal canopies out there and silent, plus a surprise on the mattress supports: 3m tape(optional usage but already in place) to keep mattress from sliding around. Our old bed was over a foot longer than this despite also being a queen because the head and foot we're both curved like a sleigh bed(but not a sleigh bed) AND there was an enormous gap in length, and that was a high quality expensive Ashley bed and 14" pillow top (always extra big) mattress. For those with limited space but want biggest bed they can get, this is the right answer. No wasted space, and the underbed clearance(just under 14") means you can fit a lot underneath easily. The extra supports are right in the middle, not 1/3 and 2/3 so you don't lose depth, plus they're spaced far enough that you can use a 60" long container underneath if it's not more than about 3 feet wide. Awesome bed and very happy with the purchase. Only downside, and this goes for a million things on Amazon, is that the price fluctuates dramatically. We put it in our cart at 185 one night, went to order next day it was 200. Waited another day it dropped to 173 so we ordered. Right now it's 165. I despise the Autobots that constantly change prices on sites like this based on perceived interest (always seems to go up after put in cart overnight), but the product in this case was well worth it.

After two nights this bed impresses me! For those who don't feel like reading my rave review, it's sturdy, sleek & beautiful, and I recommend this bed frame to everyone. I have been in the market for a new bed frame for ages but I wanted to get something that would last, would offer me styling options, as well as functionality for a crazy little idea I had. Assembly was incredibly easy, I didn't glance at the instructions until after but if I had needed them, they were wonderfully detailed. Just go in order! Literally 1, 2, 3,... Each piece is labeled, and its connection is labeled. (Example: Part #13 is labeled 13 and the area on the pieces it's meant to connect to is also labeled 13). THE HEX RATCHET IS HONESTLY THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER USED, it made putting this bed together so quick! The hardware is not bad but a few of hex bolt heads could have stripped but I did tighten them extra tight, they do have lock washers on them which I love. I didn't have to use the rubber mallet but it was nice to have just-in-case. I have a sleep number mattress and foundation [essentially a box spring], and if I'm honest I think a box spring will help evenly distribute weight, prevent sagging in areas which would cause localized stress on certain slats, and overall ensure the longevity of the "slats". In using a box spring in addition to the 14-inch high platform + a mattress you will definitely be higher up but it's a comfortable height for me. My muscle memory hasn't adjusted to avoid the center leg (LOL) so I have whacked my foot a few times and it will do damage to your foot if you're not careful! So be mindful and stick some noodles on em until your body adjusts to the change, learn from my mistake and two fractured toes. So far, this bed is 10/10 worth the two fractured toes for me :P. I was slightly confused by the four slats that had nonslip tape on them, one because there were only four of them, and two because I wasn't entirely sure if they're meant to place in specific slots for maximum functionality. In the end, it didn't apply to me as I left the paper on since they would serve me no purpose with the style of my bed foundation. If you shake enough the frame will move, possibly make noise but I don't plan on jumping or engaging in vigorous activities...on this bed. Best of all, my crazy little idea worked perfectly with this bed frame. Theatre bed on a budget :P LOL! I'll update this in the future if I think of anything else or if the quality deteriorates but I have high hopes.

Wow, much better than expected. Well made and easy to assemble. It took me 2hrs by myself and I took my time. They provide a torque wrench which makes assembly much easier than with the Allen wrench (also provided). Instructions are pics and each step is numbered to coincide with numbered pieces. Not very clear at first so review before you start and lay out all pieces in # order. You will see from pics that it comes entirely in one huge and extremely heavy box. So be sure you have help once it’s delivered. Great frame, sturdy and quiet. Customer service was also accommodating.

It’s super pretty and I love it! The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was that some of the holes for the screws didn’t seem well made. There were times when I had to force in the screws. I have experience assembling furniture and I was following the directions closely, so I’m pretty confident this wasn’t due to poor technique on my part or a lack of information. The machine that created the holes just didn’t get all of them quite right. That said, I still was able to put the bed together and it seems sturdy. I’m glad I purchased this and would do it again. Oh, a couple other things to note: -You can put this together on your own (I did), but it would help to have another person. 2 people should be plenty. -It’s a good idea to have some sort of thin hard layer between the mattress and the frame, i.e., plywood or a bunkie board, to prevent the mattress from sagging between the metal slats when weight is applied. (I ordered foldable sections of plastic board covered by fabric made by Meliusly, which worked perfectly.) Anything sturdy should work, but the thinner the better if you want the top of the mattress to be low enough on the frame for you to lean back against the headboard. -Use the included hammer to hammer the cross pieces and the headboard/footboard together. Also use it to get the slats in place.

I just had to move again for the third time since I purchased this bed frame and I just have to say it has been four years and this is one of my favorite things I’ve ever purchased. I briefly bought a different bed frame, used it for six months, then went and got the pieces of this one back out of storage and have gone back to it because alternatives don’t compare. It is sturdy, hasn’t bent deformed chipped or been damaged in four years, is just as beautiful as the day I bought it, quiet, and best of all it comes apart and goes back together over and over so easily, I lost the instructions god knows how long ago but it’s so well designed I could do it in my sleep anyway. It’s easier to get from one place to another than any of my other furniture. Apartment life means I have to be careful as I add pieces to my collection that I can get them out after I bring them in, and that’s the biggest thing I’m grateful for about this, but besides its being easy to put together it is also timeless in design and elegant and simple enough that you can change it up with the netting, lights, and bedding if you want a fresh look. It is high enough off the ground for plenty of storage without need for risers or being too tall. I keep storage bins luggage shoes etc all under it, unsightly items totally out of sight. I had some concern at first for maybe the first year that it was a sort of juvenile college purchase, because a canopy bed is something that appeals so much to my inner child, but I no longer think so; I think it’s all in how you style and accessorize and what kind of bedding you use. So incredibly happy to have this even years later. I wish I had photos on hand that did it justice. I love taking selfies against the backdrop of the canopy with the fairy lights glinting in the background, instant easy aesthetic backdrop. Honestly, you spend 1/3 of your life asleep.. why would you not want to spend that time somewhere beautiful? ❤️❤️

I had to get a new bed platform w/headboard due to the drawers and no headboard blocking moisture and causing mold in my bedroom. I hated to get rid of it because it was solid wood and extremely solid but was left with no choice for my health sake. I saw this one with the four posters and attached headboard and thought of all of the creative things I could hang/do, so I read the reviews and was pleasantly surprised to find it had 5 stars and virtually everyone was thrilled with it. When the bed arrived, I was upset to find box looked like it had been through WWIII with both ends ripped open and various large holes ripped throughout the body of the box, I was not called to tell me box was coming, nor was I able to inspect it prior to it being left leaning over my apt door where someone could potentially be crushed by it. It weighs 90+ lbs and I am disabled Widow, but since I have a kid at home, both of us were able to barely slowly lift it and drag it into the house where it had to sit in my hallway for a few days before I could pay someone to come out and put this together. Fortunately, it was well wrapped and cushioned so nothing was damaged or scratched and parts were all there, but it took an hour and a half to put together between the hired help and the kid. And it definitely requires 2 people to put this together, one to assemble the parts and one to hold. I was initially nervous that this bed would not hold my weight, as I am a plus sized lady of about 240 lbs. but it is one sturdy piece of furniture and I love it!! It's like having a cozy adult fort or a swanky little tent in your bedroom or like something you would expect in a BNB, it's so worth it, and a great price! It was a bit of a headache to put together, so here's a helpful tip: gather all of the pieces first and make sure they are all there by group, matching them to the letters on the instructions, and then connect the frame pieces first after you have determined which ones they are according to the diagram, because the instructions go by number, but the parts go by letter. The pieces have number stickers on them, but the instructions are not so clear to understand. The pieces with the tape on them are for the mattress support so it will not slide off the frame. After all was said and done, this is a very sturdy bed, and it looks great with the sheer scarves and lights I purchased to hang on it. Bed aware that the bed is long, so if you live in an apt like I do, you may want to check the measurements beforehand, because I have a long bedroom so the bed would only go one way in the room, making the clearance to close the bedroom door just a few inches, lol. Other than that, I highly recommend this nice frame/headboard and canopy set. You'll be thrilled. Nice wrought iron steel, and good 4 square poster supports, and frame supports. Sturdy bolts and re-usable tools all included. Great for yourself, a kids or guest room, lends a nice simple, or stately touch. You will not be disappointed with the quality and stability.

i was skeptical on how sturdy this frame would be but i can not be more impressed it does not move or squeek even tho me and my husband are heavy set people. It exceed expectations so much that my mother in law ended up buying the same bed and as for set up everything was straight forward amd numbered to be a breeze and only took about 45 min. im so impressed looking at buying smallwr frames fpr my children as it will grow with them as tge design is just sinple and wont gp out of style

I absolutely love this bed! Have wanted one since I was eight. It was heavy as sin in the box and I had to bribe my sister with tasty food and her choice on Netflix to get it upstairs but was able to assemble it fairly easily single handed. There was a part where I had to use the Allan key to hold up one side so I could get the right angle to insert the screw on the other but it was no trouble. The slats looked a little untrustworthy as I have a foam mattress so I kept the plywood from my old bed and reused it to great effect. Better, in fact because this bed has sticky slats that prevent slippage so I'm not constantly fixing the plywood as it shifts out of place! The instructions were very easy to follow and all the hardware you need is included, even a little ratcheting tool to make your job easier. I got a nice canopy for it and I sleep like babies wish they slept! All my friends are jealous. Buy this bed.

Set this up by myself and it took about 4 hours (I was taking my sweet time). The instructions are super clear and it came with all the tools I needed. The final product is so amazing. It's durable with zero squeaking and the mattress stays on firmly. Literally zero complaints! My sister even bought one for herself after seeing how gorgeous it looks in my room with curtains on LOL

Great bed. The bottom base is fairly solid so happy with that. The top of it is a little bit shaky, but it’s only meant to be for decorations so that’s no problem. Part of the one of the beams was a little bit dented from shipping and handling, but that’s not the manufacturers fault doesn’t affect the function of the bed. It was a little bit tricky reading the instructions because the instructions had letters and numbers, but the pieces only came with numbers on them. I was able to figure it out, took me about an hour and a half total by myself single mom it is high off the ground, which can be great if you’re tall or if you want extra space underneath was very impressed with the tools that it provides you as it gives you a mallet washers and two different Allen keys overall I’d say I’m very happy and satisfied with the product. The other reviews were very helpful with advice on building it and everything. It is much better than my 10-year-old bed that was half broken and falling apart and missing half the screws so overall, I’m very satisfied. Cannot wait to decorate it with netting and lights.! thank you so much. It is definitely exceeded my expectations. I absolutely love the way it looks.! p.s. slats are great! strong and hammer right into place!
