Twang!
Put these on an all mahogany Epi from the 60's. Good sounding strings; a little more distinct than the DR Rare equivalent. Base sounds warm while the top remains clear. I wait with interest to see how they perform in a couple of weeks.

sound great, but it fades quickly
I really love the sound of these. However that doesn't last very long and they become dull sounding, like most uncoated strings. Elixir nano coasted several times as long, but I prefer the sound of the DR, better dynamics, richer overtones when new.
