This is excellent. I've just been discharged from hospital after having having a major heart attack. I cannot throw or kick a ball for my dog to retrieve. So I had to find an alternative for thr foreseeable future. This does the job perfectly. I sit on my garden bench swing, fire the gun, and off he goes. He puts it at my feet and the gun picks it up. It shoots about 30ft and bounces around another 30 ft before he gets to it, so it is ideal for my purposes. It has a good strong spring mechanism to it, and is made of sturdy plastic. It is very robust. Update: 8 weeks later the elastic strap inside broke. I tried contacting the seller, but without success. The return date has expired, so I cannot return. I've paid for an expensive item and I expected it to last. To most people this would go in the bin at a great financial loss. Myself, I may be able to take it apart and fix it, if I can find a rubber band of the same tension, thickness, and length. I have now degraded it from 5 star to 1 star. Here is an update after 8 weeks use. The thick rubber band has snapped inside the unit, rendering it unworkable. The window to return has long gone (thirty days). £32 down the drain, unless I can take it apart and repair. I am capable, but lots off people are not. But who would pay for such an expensive item and expect to have to repair it in such a short time, or at all.

I have bought 2 of these over past 2 years as they do eventually, like everything, stop working but I must say that this item is used alot as my dog loves it; I will continue to keep buy this unit as I feel it worth every penny. My Pomeranian absolutely loves this!! The mini tennis balls are perfect for him. I also use small rubber balls which work fine too. Overtime the elastic band that resets the gun can break but generally great for the price

This is brilliant fun for the dog. Our dog loves to chase the balls fired with the gun. This one is a replacement as the previous one, after much use, finally broke. Have to say, this one cost three times as much but when you see the pleasure & excitement of the dog when playing it is worth it. We did find that the tennis balls were quickly squashed by the excited chewing of our dog so we reverted to the more squishy rubber ones of the previous gun. Happy days all round!

Doesnt make the ball go far. Can kick it further. Wont recommend and cant return.

Do not buy this if you enjoy peace and quiet… my dog ADORES this game and would be getting you to shoot the ball all day and night from this if he had his way! Excellent quality, shoots well and to a good distance too! The provided balls personally aren’t the greatest, so I bought the NERF rubber mini tennis calls and the kong alternative which work b great and give a good bounce! No batteries required, 100% would recommend!

Unfortunately it breaks after about 3 weeks of use. The band inside snaps. This is the second one that has had the same issue.

My dog and I freaking love this toy 😁😁. The balls didn’t last more than an hour before he broke through them but I knew that was going to happen because he bust open all the bigger tennis balls we’ve had, but that’s not what I’m grading I am grading how the Nerf gun performs and it works great.

My dog and my husband love this thing lol. I have a large dog German Sheppard and she enjoys it but I think it would be better for a smaller dog because of the distance it goes. Maybe 35-40'

Another Christmas gift for my Jack Russell Terriers. My girl LOVES this and is embracing the “fetch” function to bring the ball back to me so we can “do it again.” 😃 The tennis ball that came with it did not stand up to an afternoon of play, but thankfully generic tennis balls work with this launcher. Great interactive toy!!

This didn’t last us long. And pull level got stuck and would no longer shoot. It also makes a loud noise which can be scary for some dogs. Looks fun for the user though!!! Hopefully it works for other better.
