Excellent product providing an even heat suitable for cooking vegitables and eggs as well as meat. it is well worth following the advice to season it with oil before using to cook.

Item arrived before estimated time great quality and perfect fit for my BBQ. Was disappointed I had to pay additional custom charges to the courier (delivery to Ireland) considering delivery was £15 already never had to pay additional customs but I dont think thats sellers fault - amazon should have flagged this

This griddle MUST be seasoned before use. This is not a negative unto itself but I am marking the review down because it is not mentioned in the product description, and with it being quite cheap it will attract people who perhaps have not used cast iron cookware before and will use it raw (judging by some of the photos!). There are plenty of YouTube videos which explain the process so I won’t go into it, but I found two coats of vegetable oil sufficient. Also it is quite a scruffy casting with some rough edges and imperfections throughout from the casting process. However, it is quite cheap and a great bit of kit which works well enough and if looked after properly will give you years of use.

This griddle fits my Charles Bentley 3 burner BBQ perfectly same size as one of the grill plates. It is heavy and feels like it will last, I have now seasoned it using veg. Oil (plenty of info online on how to do this). Also apart from fast delivery of next day. When it originally stated 4 days, great price on Amazon prime offers.

I have owned this griddle plate for a year and have waited this long before doing a review to see how well it performed and how much I would use it. This griddle plate is actually made for the 4 burner CosmoGrill BBQ; I have the six burner, but wanted a griddle for it. This one fits, however there is a gap between the end of the grill and the side of the BBQ (refer photos) which, although this is no problem for me, it would fit the 4 burner CosmoGrill perfectly. It has been the best addition to a BBQ that money can buy. We've used it every time we've used the BBQ, which was almost every night from April through late October. It cooks everything perfectly i.e. steaks, chicken, sausages and even vegetables without the flareups you get when cooking on an ordinary grill where the fat drips out and catches fire. It's easy to clean and makes the whole BBQ experience more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this as a must have accessory for any CosmoGrill BBQ.
