All round flexible and great outdoor chilling
Make sure that you take some wood to sit this on to keep it flat and unwobbly and DON'T USE IT ON GAS IN YOUR TENT and you need to consider how large this is when taking it in the car...and it's quite heavy (particularly when full of beer) and it's a little tricky to light on gas and if you have a hugely long hose between your gas canister and the device you may run into pressure problems BUT all that said...the bottom line is that you really can't go wrong with this if you want to keep things cold for days on end in the middle of a campsite. it's a great fridge, loads of room for family meals and beer. It's even got an ice cub tray. We had it plugged into mains for a few days before we left and we made sure that we tested it on all differrent power supplies before we left (cold beer is that important). Then we ran it on the car battery going down and moved to gas once in the field. Then we had a (cold) beer...and after 7 days we still had cold beer and that has never happened before when we've ben camping!

Works well.
Bought for camping and runs really well. I ran it on gas while camping and keep my products nice and cold. I have also tried it on 12v and 240v at home and works well on both those supplies. It does take about 5 hours before it is cold but once you know this you can plan around it. I plugged it in mains supply the night before camping, transferred it to the car and ran it off 12v for the 6 hour drive, then swapped to gas when i got to campsite. I bought this because i was paying for electric hookup on campsites just to power my cooler box and since most campsites charge £5 a night for this, this will soon be saving me money.

Good fridge - more in-depth instructions required
Very good fridge - once i got it up and running on gas. After trying to ignite the gas for over half an hour i initially gave up. If my dad hadnt been with us i would have returned it as faulty. But it turns out the regulator hose i was using was too long and insufficient gas was reaching the igniter. Once the hose had been cut down to approx 70cm length, the fridge fired up and comfortably kept food cold for the 2 weeks that it was in use.

It works well would recommend
I usually have the 12 Volt Electric 24 Litre Large Cool Boxes and they soon wear out, this is an 42L Royal 3-way Absorption Camping Caravan Fridge/Cool box/Cooler 12V/230V/Gas. Using The ammonia gas I have used it on both 230V and gas and can say it is very efficient we go camping in Europe and you need a good cool box, I put in a temperature gauge to keep a check on the temperature and this cooler works well, last used two weeks ago at our BBQ.

First class fridge, works well on all three power options.
Very pleased with this fridge, I've been using it at home on mains as an overflow when the fridge in the he house is full. I really bought it for when we travel and in our camping field. It functions very well on all three, gas, mains electric and 12 volt electric. Lots of space inside.

This appliance is totally silent and unobtrusive.
I like that it has clean uncomplicated lines as far as the casing is concerned. It is totally silent in operation and is easy to clean inside. It is practical from the point of view in being able to be operated on mains electricity, in a vehicle on a 12vset up and finally on bottle gas in a caravan or camper environment.

This item fits the available space on my boat and does the job that it was designed for.
The absorption fridge works well whether using gas or electricity.I thought that it would be very difficult to source such an item but was pleased to find this one online quite easily and that the cost was reasonable. It was easily fitted and operates well.
