Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud Abyad for Unisex - 2.5 oz EDP Spray

First off, Swiss Arabian is a wonderful maker of ORIGINAL oud-based and other Middle Eastern perfumes. I have the other two Shaghaf Ouds in this line, and they're both equally unique and awesome; neither being a "clone" for anything else. As to the Abyad: if I knew nothing about Interlude Man, or did not already own Ard al Zaafran's Midnight Oud which is the clone for Interlude Man, I'd love Shaghaf Oud Abyad just on its own merit as a stand-alone fragrance, wonderful in its own right. Since I DO already own Midnight Oud and thus have the opportunity to compare, that and Oud Abyad smell identical- and I mean I. Dent. Ical. Maaaybe Midnight Oud has a bit more of the vanilla coming through. Both have that heady herbaceous opening with the oregano top note, which can be challenging for anyone not into niche fragrances. Oud Abyad might have a tad more projection and longevity. Midnight Oud has the beautiful blue bottle, however, with the gold crown on top. It's up to you. If you're into Interlude but don't want to pay $400, you could get either fragrance and no one would be the wiser. If you just like the description of this fragrance, you could do far worse than buying this one.However, if you are looking for one of Swiss Arabian's originals, I absolutely love the other two in this collection- Shaghaf Oud and Shaghaf Oud Aswad. They are standalone knockout fragrances, both different and equally beautiful. Had I known this one was more or less a match for Interlude, I'd have passed on it, but only because I own one of those already.

this scent is horrible... when you spray it initially it smells like it came from an old Avon decanter ...the ones from the 70's/80's that were shaped like cars. as it starts to dry down it smells like campfire smoke...once it fully dries it goes back to smelling like the old Avon scents.... it didnt last long on my skin at all... I didnt spray it on clothing because it wasnt something that i really enjoyed on my skin... i would NEVER purchase anything from this line again....

This is a unique, high quality fragrance. Strong smoky scent that stays all day on your clothes, and you’ll explore more notes as it wears off.Great value compared to niche and designer brands. Must have if you want a strong and very long lasting Cologne.

This is a masculine fragrance, or unisex leaning masculine to my nose. It is not an A typical fragrance and possess that distinct Swiss Arabian footprint. The opening has a strong pepper spiciness. The mid smooths out giving its amber and Sandlewood, The Oud in this fragrance is smooth and to my nose not animalic or harsh at all. I think I would prefer this fragrance on a man and do not find it feminine enough for myself (personal preference) this is a unique scent, masculine in nature, very long lasting, moderate projection off skin, a bit better off cotton clothing. I think this would be a fine office scent, day or evening and would work well with a suit and tie. A confident man or woman will be able to pull this one off. This is a mature person's scent maybe 35+, but you do you.

Let me start by saying I wasn't pleased with the seller, because I was sent a fragrance that will expire next year - quality control is important, and most people will need longer than a year to use this 75ml fragrance because it can be overwhelmingly challenging imo. It isn't suitable for year round use, but I wanted this as a part of my Shaghaf collection.First impression: Shaghaf Oud Abyad is bold, smoky, and unapologetically intense. I find this fragrance to be suitable in cold to extremely cold weather as we experience here in the midwest during the winter season, but I can see this being worn during a cool evening out in the fall or earlier spring.Upon first spraying this, you’re hit with a strong, resinous smoke - think burning woods, incense, and a deep, slightly green oud accord. It’s powerful, and it definitely makes a statement. As it dries down the intensity of the smokiness softens a bit and the woods and earthy accords reveal themselves adding depth and complexity.In my opinion, this not a safe blind buy, it's unisex leaning masculine and its not a sweet fragrance - it's a dry, smoky, and resinous, composition that feels very niche. Performance is solid and where this one really shines as it projects the first 2-3hrs, lasts on skin for 10-12hrs, and on clothes through several washes. 3-4 sprays max is sufficient with this fragrance - this scent definitely fills a room and leaves a strong scent trail.After testing this fragrance, I can say that Shaghaf Oud Abyad is best for cooler weather, evenings, and bold personalities. If you love smoky resinous fragrances with depth and presence, you will find this very intriguing and a must have for your collection.

The longevity is about 4 hours for me. It is extremely woodsy when you first spray it on but when it dries down, IT IS AMAZING! Dry down is about 30 minutes. I will continue to buy this!

I am absolutely a self proclaimed perfume connoisseur✔️Shaghaf is very strong and opulent, definitely for evening wear in my opinion but it is certainly on a higher level when it comes to Ms to perfumes!

I used to have white ouid in my collection , but never tried this company before! It’s smell so bad I had to change my clothes just to get rid of this ugly smell!!! It’s off and so heavy !! Don’t buy !! wasting money !! No return so it’s Going straight to the trash !!

Great value for money.Nice bottle design.Great atomiser.Lasts long, I got about 7+ hours from it.It was a smoky and incense scent, which may not be everyone’s cup of tea.Don’t overspray this scent as it can be overwhelming to you and people around you.But other than that it’s a 10/10

Out of nearly 100 fragrances I own, this is one of the best. Great scent, and performance. Beautiful unisex fragrance I would recommend to anyone 35+.
