has extremely precise fit. tight tolerances. compact not bulky. good finishes. electrically seems performant. I would be very surprised if attached USB devices haad any performance impact. I used both adapters for charging a cell phone while watching TV/movies on it.

These do what they claim. There's a number of other options out there but these were the smallest/sleekest, especially for the sideways one, so I gave them a try. They plug in really tight, both on the male end going into your device, and the female end accepting a cable/device. This can be really nice since you don't want adapters like this to be loose or flimsy. On the other hand they can be tough to remove. The female side is a bit more forgiving, so I imagine if you accidentally snagged a cable, it would pull out cleanly on that end. I don't really have anything that can push the power and data rates to the max, but did confirm they work up to 10Gbps and ~35W. No reason to believe they'd have any issues reaching the advertised rates of 40Gbps/240W. I don't have any USB-C displays, so couldn't test that. I used an external USB-C NVMe drive/enclosure to test the data throughput. I had a lot of problems getting the drive to show up when using either adapter. It would detect the drive but sometimes throw errors (a device which does not exist was specified) when trying to access it. Ultimately it did show up and speeds were the same both with and without the adapter, but it was concerning that it took so long to get it to work. Had the problem on two different computers, and always worked fine without the adapter. Maybe it was something else, but it didn't seem that way. I don't plan on using these for any type of external drive so it doesn't concern me, but figured it was worth mentioning. All other devices I tried this with - power input for laptop and a phone, mouse/keyboard/headset, simple thumb drives, etc - worked just fine. Same goes for a USB-C hub with other devices then plugged into that. Overall I'm pleased with these. Besides the issues with the external NVME drive, they did everything else I expected, exactly as advertised. They're compact and look good. They're also very snug for a secure connection.

Great for weird use-cases like fitting a cable in a tight area, or gaming and getting the cable out of the way. I did not notice any issues with speed or charging while using these.

I only use this to power my Carplay screen in my car. No data transfer. Works perfectly for that, not bulky. Connection is a tiny bit wiggly, but it holds in well and the wiggle could be entirely on the screen. Overall 8/10. Only because I haven’t tested data transfer.

Ho acquistato questi adattatori per abbinarli a un cavo della stessa marca che mi permette di collegare l'iPad Pro a un monitor esterno. Svolgono perfettamente il loro compito: non solo migliorano l'angolazione rendendo l'intero setup più gradevole alla vista, ma prevengono anche posizioni scomode che potrebbero danneggiare i cavi o i dispositivi stessi. All'interno della confezione ho trovato due adattatori angolari: uno che modifica l'inclinazione in verticale (alto/basso) e uno in orizzontale (sinistra/destra), offrendo la massima flessibilità in base alle diverse necessità di posizionamento. Sono realizzati con una robusta scocca in alluminio, che li rende non solo esteticamente gradevoli ma anche molto resistenti. Nella mia esperienza d'uso per la trasmissione audio/video, la qualità del segnale è rimasta impeccabile. Considerando il costo e la presenza di due adattatori con diverse angolazioni nella confezione, consiglio vivamente questo prodotto. È un piccolo investimento che migliora notevolmente l'ergonomia e la protezione della tua postazione.

Feedback after 2 months of travelling and using these adapters - I purchased a couple of sets of these type adapters from Cable Matters so I could have 90° turns. I use them with Thunderbolt 3, monitors and power delivery and they work very well. They are nicely made and the USB-C connections feel solid. They nicely route cables close to the side of my laptop, keeping them out of the way. A friend borrowed one to reroute a cable in his back-pack while hiking and said it worked fine. Be nice to have other routing options as sometimes the cable blocks other ports. In the photo you can see where I have combined a small USB-C extension with a 90° adapter to route around a 2nd USB-A 90° adapter. Combining two adapters works but the nice solid connection starts to get some 'flex' so it would be nicer if this was a single unit. Good value.
