Good idea bad quality and value
Edit after a couple of uses i noticed after slipping on a couple of bolts it has worn on inside obviously the material is not of a good quality. End Edit...original review below.I really needed this as my black spray painted alloys damage easy. This does a good job protecting them. But the price for one single socket is extortionate. So even though I'm very happy with it, I don't feel like I got value for money.

Okay but...
Item has a quality feel to it, fits the wheel nut accurately and the outer sleeve protects the wheel as it should. I've found that the plastic insert from inside the socket keeps falling out. It's a simple matter of putting it back in but I feel it shouldn't fall out in the first place.

A good product.
I needed a 21mm wheel-nut socket for my new car and this on fitted the bill perfectly. As previous reviewers have said, the protective plastic sleeve tends to slip off when you remove the socket from the wheel nut, but that’s not a major issue and can be sorted with a bit of adhesive.

Never knew this product existed..
I try to look after my alloys, I'm always careful not to damage the paint in the wheel bolt sickest with normal metal sockets but this seems to add extra protection so well pleased with the purchase and it now staying in the torque wrench box.

Ok so far
Seems strong so far. I work on manky rusty sad sack piles of **** BMW’s and it hasn’t broken yet. Annoying that the sleeve is loose so comes off every time you try to remove the socket from the impact gun or torque wrench but nothing a drop of superglue doesn’t fix

Pro quality socket for alloy wheels
Goes with a decent breaker bar to shift wheel nuts that a tyre fitter has really banged up with an air gun. Would work with an impact wrench if I had one, but I prefer the hand tool and a torque wrench when doing up the nuts afterwards.

Poor quality nylon sleeve
I bought this Sealey socket to replace one I've had for approx 15 years, but only because the nylon sleeve kept sliding off (but was still fully in tact and doing its job). With a few uses the new Sealey socket nylon sleeve started to crack and break up. The nylon casings seems far too brittle for this application. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY !!!!!

Decent car tool for the money.
Only bought it for light home use on the car so didn’t need anything expensive. This does what I need so far and looks rather nice as well so good value for money as far as I’m concerned.
