First off, they really nice looking (I ordered three different designs. One for myself, another for my mom, and one for a friend). The bowls are rather thick. The matching ceramic spoon is sturdy and thick. The chopsticks are standard ones (not the best but they will be serviceable for a year or two). It is about the right size for a package of bigger ramen (like Korean ramen). It can easily fit the smaller ramen sizes that you buy at the regular grocery store. Obviously it can be used for anything that a normal bowl can be used for. If it is on sale, I highly recommend buying.

Was excited to receive my bowl chopsticks and spoon. The bowl and chopsticks made it in one piece, can't say the same for the 3 pieces of the soup spoon that was with everything.
