Excellent value for money.
I've had one of these in my bedroom for a few months as I have breathing problems. It has been amazing so I decided to purchase another for my lounge. It's very well built , solid and quiet ,I cant recommend it enough.

Good quality, accessible price
I bought this as a second dehumidifier, so I can have one upstairs and one downstairs. The humidity levels in my home are now optimal, to the point where I barely have to use the dehumidifiers anymore.I love this Comfee dehumidifier. It looks fancy, it's smart, and can be fully controlled from within the app. It is very efficient at extracting water and it is also an air purifier. However, it is recommended that you take the HEPA filter out when dehumidifying, as the filter itself being so dense, can decrease the efficiency of the dehumidifying process. It is only recommended to use the HEPA filter when the humidity is already optimal, and you're only looking to purify the air. Also, VERY IMPORTANT - when you're trying to connect the dehumidifier to your WiFi, the app unnecessarily inserts a space at the end of the WiFi password. I spent about 30 minutes trying to connect this to WiFi and I could not explain why it was not working. Finally, I noticed that every time I typed in the WiFi password, there was a space at the end of the password, that the app would unnecessarily use by default. I eventually removed that space, and the connection was successful. So, just make sure there is no empty space at the end of the password, before hitting Connect.Overall, definitely happy with the purchase. Very good quality product.

Decent set of features for the price
If you don't have time or don't like to read long reviews, then in summary:It's not the cheapest in its price bracket but does have good functionality:20l per day max capacity3l bucket with water level window and carry handleModes: Smart, Continuous, Laundry, Manual0-24 hour start/stop timer (This is not a clock-based timer)Auto restart on power up after power lossIoniser option (anti-dust/bacteria)Hepa filter (I think)Time to clean filter reminder (After 250 hours running)3-speed fanOscillating/adjustable air outlet louverAuto stop when fullContinuous drainage optionAuto defrostWiFi/app for optional remote controlPrice paid: £209.99 list minus some discounts.Time of review: Novenmer 2023The following review is reflective of the 10 or so days we have had the unit:BACKGROUNDWe live in a 1930's 3-bed semi with double glazing, gas central heating and a fully-glazed consevatory. With solid walls, it is difficult to avoid condensation at some point in the year and potentially, the black mold that arrives with it if we don't constantly keep surfaces dry. So, we thought that it was time to see if a dehumidifier could help. Having done some homework regarding features versus prices and read many reviews, we decided to go for this unit. As stated above, it's not the cheapest in its price bracket, but has all the main features we were looking for. It was a bit of a gamble as there weren't many reviews on Amazon when we bought it compared to more established models (I suspect that it may well go under different brand names) and initially, we nearly regretted it (more on that below). However good the review ratings are for a product, I always read the bad ones to see what issues people report. Having looked at many reviews for dehumidifiers, it's clear that quality control is one of the common issues, like many products that are mass-produced in China. That's not to say that all Chinese-produced products are bad, but they are mostly made to a cost and with no way of knowing how quality control is implemented, there will enevitably be some risk (In my opinion, there's a difference between 'Designed in the UK, made in China' and 'Designed by who knows?, imported from somewhere in China', perhaps unfairly). Even units getting a high percentage of good reviews on Amazon show that most unhappy customers with valid chriticisms are having to deal with early failures or units not meeting their quoted specifications. So one of our considerations in purchasing this unit was the potential need for support. This unit is sold and delivered by Amazon, and as Prime customers, it gives us an element of security knowing that we will be dealing with Amazon directly should we have any issues.INITIAL UNBOXINGThe unit was delivered reasonably packaged and with no apparent damage on unboxing. It's decently made with handle recesses on the sides and not too heavy or awkward to carry (The weight isn't quoted and I haven't measured it). The castors fitted to the base are free-wheeling and quiet in motion. The manual covers nine models in all, and while front panel differences narrow down which options you have, it takes a bit of investigation to confirm the feature set for this actual model, if you don't want to take the Amazon advert onface value. In particular, I wasn't sure if this unit came with a Hepa filter (some don't), but from one small diagram in the manual (referring to a different model in the range) I'm fairly sure it is.IN USEOn initial use, the unit appeared to be working fine with no apparent issues. However, on day two, while running in continuous mode, it started to 'throb' loudly at an annoying 2Hz or so. Moving the unit around affectd the magnitude of this oscillation to a greater or lesser degree, but it stubbornly remained. At this point, it also became unresponsive to any of the front panel controls and only cycling the power rectified the problem. We decided to run it for the rest of the day, but to return the unit for a refund. However, after a few hours, the unit settled down and appeared to be running smoothly, so we have given it the benefit of the doubt. I have to say, since then, there have been mild hints that the oscillation is still present, but not to any annoying degree (I can hear it as I'm sat writing this). We will see.The unit has a useful range of programs:Manual - Set your own target humidity.Continuous - Running flat outSmart - Humidity target 45-55%Laundry - Max dehumidification, max fanSo far, we have only really used the unit in continuous mode. Why? It surprises me that compressor-based dehumidifiers are the most popular type in use in the UK (probably on price), as they become increaingly ineffective as temperature decreases. They are much more effective in hot and humid environments. So, running a test over a whole day, we achieved a minimum humidity of 60% at a temperature of 16-17 degrees C. Using Smart mode would run the same as Continuous, as the 45% cut off would never be reached at that temperature. I don't know if Laundry mode can actually do better (The manual states that the unit runs at maximum dehumidification in Laundry mode). We haven't tried it yet.We have been running the unit in the conservatory and bathroom, where it has been particularly good at reducing the humidity after showers, removing sizeable quantities of water from the air (I haven't measured volume over time) quickly without the need to open windows and losing heat. There are a couple of additional features we do like: One is the air outlet louver, which opens when the unit is started and angles the air ejected. This can be set to oscillate, moving the angle of the airflow, or set to a desired angle by turning the oscillation of at the desired position. It automatically closes when the unit is turned off. The second is the inclusion of a Hepa filter and ioniser to purify (to some degree) the ejected air.TECHNICAL INFONoise:Quoted as 39-45dB(A). There are a range of unit sizes and I suspect that the 20l unit is 45dB(A). My own readings are as follows (using an iPhone with the 'Decibel X' app - uncalibrated and measured at a distance of 1m).Unit off (background noise) 25dB(A)Unit on, fan low: 49dB(A)Unit on, fan mid: 51dB(A)Unit on, fan high: 53dB(A)Whether the unit meets specification on noise is debatable, but as light sleepers, we wouldn't be able to sleep with it in the room, even if it did. That's not to say that this is a noisy unit. Other dehumidifiers are noisier (at least on paper). And we haven't been subjected to the 'squeal' that is reportedly associated with other dehumidifiers using the latest environmentally-friendlier R290 gas (which this unit uses).Power:(No mention in the manual or adverts as far as I can see, just 'low energy consumption'). Measured with an uncalibrated device:Fan low: >220WFan high: <230WPower factor: 0.6This isn't uniquely low, but it's up there with best in class for a 20l dehumidifier. So, the cost to run per hour flat out is 0.23 x your electricity kWh unit cost or alternatively, roughly 4 hours for your electricity kWh unit cost. Ours is currently about 26p per kWh, so it costs us about 6p an hour to run this unit flat out. It's worth bearing in mind that some of the inefficiency in the unit is emitted as heat in the ejected air, so you're getting some of the running costs back. Plus, with drier air in your home, you can apparently reduce your thermostat by a degree or so without feeling noticeably colder - more savings.INITIAL IMPRESSIONSSo far, mostly positive, except for the compressor oscillation which comes and goes, but is distracting when it's there (more so than the general noise level of the unit). That aside, we're impressed enough to be considering buying a second one, especially as they are currently discounted by 15% in the Amazon Black Friday sale. But then again, that oscillation is back...UPDATEA number of people have asked where they can buy replacement HEPA filters, which is a good point. I emailed Comfee UK and the short answer is, you can't:'We don't supply replacements as they are just something in our units to be removed and cleaned. One thing to note is HEPA is just a grade as such, you can buy it and cut to size for a model of your own, E12 or E13 is the code I understand.Hope that helps, Dave Team Comfee UK'I think they possibly mean grade H12 or H13, which seem to be the grade used by alternative manufacturers (if they are fitted). I haven't looked in anger, but I have yet to see raw filter material that I can cut to size. Something that Confee might like to think about. This might influence your decision on supplier, as it is possible to buy replacement filters for units made by, for example, Meaco. Around £23 for three on Amazon, at the time of writing.

Great
Have an issue with damp in my house at the moment and this is working wonders, humidity was measuring at 80% and now down to 55% thanks to this dehumidifier.Has wheels so nice and easy to move, easy to empty and has laundry setting which has helped dry clothes really well.Currently running this for around 12 hours a day and have noticed an improvement in air quality, no more damp or mould growth, so fingers crossed! Was a bit hesitant about spending so much but honestly would recommend this, barely registers on the smart meter and cheap to run, and it’s been an essential purchase for our house, couldn’t be without it.

Very good quality, quick to work, easy to operate
Very easy to set up, mobile app works great but is not required. Absorbs a huge amount of water from the air and has made my cold house feel vastly different to before. 10/10 I would recommend
