Worked better then the $40 one I got from walmart
This filter took my well water from 1500 ppm down to 220 ppm. Worked better then the $40 one I got from walmart. Does work best at the end of the hose not at spigot. The water pressure decreased a little but worth the wait considering the results but didn't change for chlorinated city water. After a couple of uses it didn't work anymore. My well water is really bad.

If you have hard water, this is a step in the right direction...
Seems to work as intended. We have hard well water here that takes a toll on our flowers through the summer. Since installing this inline filter, the flowers have perked up and actually look healthy rather than barely getting by. I have not tested the water coming out of the filter vs straight from the faucet. However, the smell of the water has been removed post filter and that leads me to believe it's doing something. Maybe this weekend I'll get around to washing vehicles and see how it does with the water spots. Is this a fix all? No. But it is an improvement for sure. For $20+/- its worth a shot...

Works for short time
We have well water with high rust contents. We used once and it worked great besides the initial black water coming out but that is expected. We only filled maybe 75 gallons. We used it a second time and the first 20 gallons it seemed fine but then the water turned yellow from the rust. So we didn’t get anywhere near the 11,000 gallons it states.

Terrific for Hot Tub water
Used this to fill our hot tub- 475 gallons- went a little slower than without the filter on the hose but not too much more. We have hard water with lime deposits and using this filter helped keep the water much more clear, with fewer additives needed. Got 2 fills out of this (second use- filled noticeably slower than the last time.) Would definitely recommend this filter for use with hard water hot-tub filling application.
