In theory yes but I'd buy an A3 scanner if I was you ! I just use mine for scanning bar code

I have installed the software from the disk but it says it cannot locate one of the files, so the mouse is just...well... a mouse, it wont scan?

Should have a shortcut on your screen, hover over it and press the scan button on the side of the mouse, scanner, this should open the programme the mouse should then work correctly. If this does not work uninstall programme and install again. Hope this helps as the scanner is brilliant.
