Nice and sturdy mat, for under my exercise bike.

I'm a serious jump roper. Anything is better than cement. I use it to soften the impact from the concrete and it works perfectly. There's just enough cushion to keep from being too mushy and preventing a timely jump while protecting my knees from solid ground impact.I also use it on grass to provide a smooth ground due to grass being too high or slightly uneven. It's durable enough to handle periodic rope smacks and continuous jumps without bunching up or wearing away.Also good for putting equipment on to protect carpet and flooring or to keep equipment from sliding around and some floor exercises; thicker than an average yoga and palates mat but not too thick to interfere with the workout.There's a comfortable thinness and a confident durability to it. Not a smooth surface but textured for traction.

This mat is not 1 inch thick, but it does a good job of protecting the floor. I'd say it's about 1/4 to 3/8 inches thick. My stationary bike fits on it well with enough room around to catch any sweat or drink drips. Easy to clean. Stands up to my bike cleats

Good product. Thick enough to cushion bicycle and save wear and tear on flooring. Priced very reasonable. Would buy again.

Like this mat because it is sturdy and yet fairly lightweight and flexible. It does a great job of protecting my carpet, and my recumbent bike never slips or slides on it. (By the way, I made sure to measure my spinner when it was set up so that I would get the right size mat. Genius move, yes?) I've only been using it a month-plus, so I cannot as yet speak to the mat's durability. So far, I think it's a great buy.

Great mat, was originally for my kitchen but realized its a nonslip, cushy mat, waterproof and easy to clean. It works great as the bathroom gets damp after showers. Better than my old cloth mat that folded and had no grip on it.

I bought the mat so that I could jump rope inside the house when necessary and keep wood floors protected from scuff marks. It certainly does that. The mat is big enough for jumping rope, and it provides just enough padding to help ease the strain on 50-year old ankles and knees. I would definitely recommend the product for this type of activity.
