Best for truck drivers

This Gps gas been a huge improvement from my last. I always stuck with a certain other well known brand and I wish I could say they are equal in quality and usefulness but Garmin definately beats them out. I highly recommend!

Some times it takes you off the highways and puts you back in but it saves me all the time best for trucks make sure to put in your right truck height and 1 extra inches of its under 13’.6”

This was super misleading! The word "renewed" in the product name actually means "refurbished." The product description does not indicate that this is a refurbished product, but it comes in a box with "refurbished unit" written all over it. Thought I was buying a brand new GPS. Just hoping it works long-term.

Powered down and won’t come back on. Said renewed but I’m thinking not so much. Now it’s a very expensive paperweight. Don’t recommend this unit, at least not the refurbished one. Not even four months old.

A major part of our business operation is internal logistics between about 19 locations in 3 states in the Midwest. Additionally deliveries are sometimes made a few days a week to customer sites. Drivers not familiar with some of these areas especially out of state count on their GPS to lead the way and Garmin has been our go-to for these needs.This GPS unit is thinner than some of our previous models but still feels durable and fit for the job. The large bright screen is easy to read in the vehicle even during bright sunny days. This is the first model we’ve purchased that uses USB-C vs. the older mini USB-B connection. On this note, it appears to only include a basic charging cable and 12V USB power adapter. Previous units included a charger/antenna a combo that allow the device to report traffic and road conditions however that does not seem to be the case here so that would likely need purchased separately.The interface works and feels just like any other Garmin unit in existence. It allows us to customize the vehicle specs at the time of address entry on a per-route basis to ensure our drivers are taking the quickest and safest route for commercial trucks. Bluetooth works well to pair with driver’s phones to integrate for hands free in trucks that do not have a Bluetooth head unit. Map updates can be done directly on the unit over WiFi which is done pretty quickly compared to Garmin Express on the computer.For the price and our needs we are happy with how this unit is working for us.
