Q: Does it come with a connector

Are you meaning the tap connector? If I remember rightly it came with all connectors required.

As far as I can remember it did not have a wall mount in the box. I did make a metal hook type bracket mounted on a piece of wood fixed to a wall so that I could pull the hose out which I am still using. the Hose and reel are well made though and the one I bought in June 2010 is still in good condition.

If you buy a Hozelock male/male connector you can attach as much hose as you wish if it is fitted fitted with the normal female connection ends. Alternatively Hozelock market a straight hose joiner if you only want one fitting at the joint rather than three. When you wind the hose back on I would think that the extra hose and fittings will fit on the drum as there is a fair amount of free space. If this does not work you could always uncouple the extra piece and store it separately. What will determine the effectiveness is water pressure as each fitting and hose length reduces the water pressure available at the spray nozzle. If you have reasonable water pressure I imagine the extra fitting and five metres of hose will work fine. Hope this helps, Roy.

The basic body is one piece, the handle has to be fitted but that is push fit. The hose feed from the supply tap to the hose drum inlet has to be cut to length from the supplied hose unless you have a spare piece of hose already. Tap and hose connectors have to be fitted on to this short length of hose between the supply tap and drum and the spray has to be fitted to the main hose but there is nothing complicated, no tools are required and the included instructions are clear with illustrations for each stage.
