Large Reflective Tie Out Cable

No problem at all

Works well. Exactly as expected. I’ve had ours for a long time (about 2 years I think). The loop thing is getting rusty so I wanna get a new and buy a cover so that doesn’t happen. It’s working just fine - I just don’t like that stuff on my hands. It’s definitely a great product at a great price. I have an American pit that’s about 80 lbs and it’s holding up just fine after all this time.

This is a great tie out! I needed a shorter one. It’s highly visible and best of all it doesn’t tangle. Well worth the price.

I waited awhile before reviewing this to see how it held up. The important things: I have 2 big dogs who are not gentle on anything. The cable gets run over concrete stairs as they go up down and all directions in-between. It’s not brought in during inclement weather & the dogs only go out front when it’s raining as the back yard gets soggy. They’re on the tie out a few times a week, multiple times a day through winter and spring. It was delivered to me Dec 10th of 2019, today, May 8th 2020 it broke and the-reason-we-can’t-have-anything-nice-dog bolted with part of it still attached. I had noticed last week the protective coating was worn in spots and the cable had started to rust. I didn’t get it replaced fast enough. I gave it 4 stars overall and 3 for durability. I had hoped it would last longer as it’s not used daily but to be fair, it survived almost 6 months in less than easy conditions. For the price paid, 6 months isn’t a bad return. If you have actual dogs and not velociraptors zooming up and down concrete steps, this would be a fine tie out and last you a long time. If you have dogs like mine, buy 2 so you have a replacement at the ready.

This is a strong cable. It's long enough for the dog to roam a bit.

Used for 4 months so far and the ends are rusted and barely open.

Wire casing is splitting after 2 months leaving exposed wires near my dog: not good.
