Made Mom Happy!
For several years my Mom would crochet lap blankets andgive them to residents in local nursing homes. She wouldacquire leftover skeins of yarn, sometimes from yardsales and friends to make them. As a Merchandiser servicinga store, I came across the book on Chemo Caps & Wraps, andknew that my Mom would really be interested in perhaps makingthese as well. With being on an extremely limited budget,Amazon made a way for me to be able to purchase this [as NEW]at a much lower price, so that I could get this as a gift tomy Mom for Christmas. She was very elated upon receivingthe book and is thrilled to be able to expand her givingto others, of her handiwork.Sincerest THANKS to all you Amazon sellers...you don't knowhow much you bring even just a ray of sunshine to those ofus who can still be gift givers...within this limitedeconomical scenario, many are dealing with. God's Blessingsto you all.Carlena [CatInMyLap]...>^..^<Ocoee - FL

Oh, I love this collection
I'm not a big wrap person, but I love making hats, especially for charity. I was looking for less simple-looking hats, because so many of the fancier hat patterns are hard to tweak to make smaller for someone with thinning or no hair. I wanted something more stylish than just plain beanies, but ones that would fit someone with no hair, where the pattern doesn't create "holes" (for preserving dignity), and men's sizes. This book has all of that, plus child and baby sizes. I like to work with medium worsted yarn, and there are plenty of patterns in this book that call for it. I admit, I wouldn't make some, but a good 90% appeal to me right away. A great addition to my library, and yours if you like to make hats, do charity projects or for gifts.

Good Selection
Some very nice patterns here for chemo caps. I’ve made hundreds of chemo caps to donate and it gets boring if I use the same designs over and over, so I need variety. I usually make up my own designs, but it is nice to get some inspiration. These are all good designs, with a lot of variation. By reference, I would consider myself an expert crocheter. I cannot say for sure, but perhaps some of these would be hard for beginners.

Chemo Caps and Wraps
As a long time crocheter (but never an expert, preferring very simple stitches) I ordered this book since it had patterns listed in all skill levels. I tried three of the hats marked as easy and managed to get through them. I don't know that I would undertake any of the others, although people with more skill than I may have no problem at all!As for the delivery and quality of the product, I have no complaints.Ruth Nott, author of After the Rain

Good purchase at reasonable price
I was looking for only one pattern for a shawl out of this book and had to buy the entire book. Thankfully, I found it hardly used at a good price. There were no markings, just some light water damage to a few pages along one edge that had no impact on the patterns. I am pleased with the purchase.

Chemo Cap and Wrap
This is a pretty non existant book. There is not much there and the colors could be more vibrant. I was just looking for some patterns to do hats and scarves.I should have gone to a store where I could really browse and see exactly what I am buying. But I really don't like to shop. But I really do need to get out and purchase my items. Im am sure I could have gotten more patterns and ideas from a much larger book at about the same price. It is ok. This cause it wonderful.

Pretty good little paperback
There are some nice crochet project in here. Mostly for the beginner or someone getting back into crochet. Probably the best thing is that it gives you idea's for projects that would work for someone on Chemo. So get stitchin' and provide that special gift for someone going through a very hard time...

Chemo Caps & Wraps
This crochet book is great for patterns of caps for chemo patients. In the winter months, those of us without our natural hair need caps to warm our heads. I have not made one as of yet, so I cannot determine if the patterns are without errors.

Need a bit of experience.
Bought this when I finished my chemo but found the patterns a little too difficult so passed onto my sister in law who can crochet very well.

Good looking and useful
I thought these hats and wraps would be boring, but they are all very swish. I've made several of the hats, and they fit a treat, just the ticket.
