Daily regimen for adults. I like the big, easy to hold and open container a lot. Nothing difficult to open every day! The extra packet is perfect to keep in a wallet or purse so you can take if forgotten it if finding oneself in heart trouble (such as afib) as you go to doctor or hospital to keep blood thin.

Great value for daily heart health I purchased this 300-count bottle of Bayer 81mg low-dose aspirin because it is an excellent value for anyone on a daily regimen recommended by their doctor. The enteric coating is fantastic because it makes the tiny tablets very easy to swallow and prevents any stomach irritation or discomfort, which can be an issue with standard aspirin.

My doctor wants me taking aspirin every single day and I do so. She ordered me a prescription and I was taking that for a long time. But every now and then I just want the security of having nearly a year's worth in my medicine cabinet. If anything happened at least I'd have a bottle of aspirin! I've bought several bottles of this Bayer Aspirin in the past so decided to get one from amazon as a safeguard. I have not had any heart attacks or strokes but I do notice that now and then I'll get a bruise. So if you take any blood thinning medications this is probably not a good idea unless your doctor has told you to take it. I'd definitely get a doctor's OK before taking aspirin every day! I have not had any blood clots but I know people my age who have and maybe they should have been taking aspirin as a preventative strategy. I am nearly 60 but still alive! Probably due to aspirin! This is the best price we have found as long as it is on sale, otherwise it ends up being about the same cost as local stores. The 81mg enteric coated tablets work exactly as they should and are a solid option for a daily regimen if your doctor recommends it. The included 325mg travel pack is also a nice bonus to have on hand. The only odd thing is the bottle size. There are 300 small tablets in a bottle that feels like it could hold ten times more, which just does not make sense and takes up unnecessary space. Other than that, this is a great buy when discounted.
