Painmaster MCT Patches - Twin Pack

Firstly, please be beware of misleading product titles. A Twin pack, should include two boxes (two units and two sets of pads) The unit cannot work without two pads, but this does not make it a twin pack! A single unit is widely available at around £25. £39 is the general offer price for TWO packs. I see that some customers received two full packs when ordering, yet I only got 1. After contacting Amazon and querying this they have said they are sending another pack.Now on to the actual review...These pain relief units and patches are excellent for chronic pain sufferers. I discovered this product a few months ago and have now cut down my anti-inflammatory intake as a result. I've suffered chronic back pain for years.They don't work instantly though. No miracles. Leave the pads on for several hours. I wear mine all day, almost everyday. Just stick with them.I also find that micro porous tape is needed, in my case as I'm quite active, to keep the pads in place. If they don't have a really good contact to the skin they will not work as effectively. But I would highly recommend the Painmaster to anyone.

Worked well if patient in terms of days rather than hours. Moved it around every few days. Be careful taking them on and off as once moved or damaged the gel pads can't be realigned easily. Good battery life

It workes really well on my friend whose pain is muscular. Recommended by her Physio. My pain is arthritic so bit different and worked at first but then not. Haven't tried it since

I used the Painmaster for leg pain and can't say I noticed a huge difference, but maybe it would have been worse without? However, my husband used it for his knee pain and he reckoned it did help. The battery (or whatever is used to power it) on the first pack lasted only half the time it was supposed to. The second pack hasn't had much use yet, so I don't know how long it will last. It does seem environmentally unfriendly to have to chuck the whole thing away. Although it's not perfect, I will buy again as there does appear to have been some benefit

Two patches to attach each side of the inflamed area. When the adhesive wears thin with much use they can be attached with micropore tape and the electronic impulse is effective in pain relief on inflamed knee, wrist and hand when placed in each area

I use this product every day to ease my shoulder pain,it was recommended by a Osteopath and to me its a brilliant product

Worked wonderful for one day (max 12 hours) then just stopped, no green light, nothing, which is a shame because I really thought I had finally found something to help with this permanent debilitating pain, I could cry.

I'm not at all sure if this helped me at all; pain is such a subjective thing. But what is certain is that this product is very professionally produced. It's well packaged; the instructions are clear; and unlike a lot of 'medical' products everything about it is what it claims to be. No more; no less.
