I have a marine hatch that needed a new hinge - the original hinge was made of aluminum and had bent and was falling apart. The new hinges work great. Very little play and structurally sound. I used longer screws to ensure the screws do not work out over time.

This hinge is very thin and light for the project I intended to use it on. The magnet test shows it might be stainless steel. It is another example of the Chinese invading our markets. It is not what I expected, but I will keep it for future projects. If you need strength, rigidity or support don't go here. Now I must find something that will work and wait and wait and wait for it to arrive as advertised.

I would not recommend this unless you are working on lite pieces.Not for my usage.

Works great. The length I needed wasn’t available locally and didn’t want the work of cutting one down.Amazon had exactly what I needed.

for the right cabinet and light chest or furniture top it would be great. just be sure its not a heavy duty / heavy piece. it works well, its just not made for a bulkhead (in my opinion)
