Its no secret VogMasks are highly rated fabric masks and us chemo patients have been wearing them for years, they were sold at our Mayo Clinic Pre-CoVid and so grateful Amazon carries them often. It’s also no secret that you get what you pay for and worth the investment for a mask that’s effective up to 3 years. With all that being said a protective mask is only as good as it’s sealed fit. They do a great job offering a multitude of sizes but for someone like me that’s on the borderline of Med+ and Large (I’m a 5’7” female, 155lbs), going with the Large size offers the highest comfort and doesn’t cause the irritated mask lines on my face at the end of the day. Combined with this strap, I get a highly comfortable fit while getting a perfect seal around the edges.It’s not rocket science and the straps are easy to use. My only suggestion is to get everything situated and adjusted on your face exactly the way you want it and then unsnap only one ear to remove the mask each time. This way you only have to put it on and snap one side instead of having to redo the whole fitting process. It also cuts down on touching the top of the mask when removing, as suggested by CDC.All I have is my personal experience and so far this combo has kept me safe through years of cancer treatments that knock out my immune system - even through a ramped pandemic going on in my city (Phoenix area). I wouldn’t dream of doing life‘s tasks like grocery shopping, filling up the gas tank, or dr apts without it.My husband is an “essential” warehouse worker and with him wearing his mask we’ve been able to be spared the worst of it so far (X-Lg size: he’s 6’, large frame, 210lbs).It’s also worth reading the filter’s tech specs and efficiency lab tests on VogMask’s website. All are dependent on proper fit. Again, it’s that important and only $8 a 4-pack.As to some reporting snaps were missing etc., always make sure the seller is VogMask and not an unknown third party. They can also be returned for free on Amazon if there is a freak defect like that.

Not sure why all the bad reviews. Purchased (2) of these March 2019 (before the great sickness). I would need to wear masks around perfumes & toxins. My straps have so far lasted all this time, 3 years now, with no problems. They are my favorite straps I have. I came back here to get 2 more because the snap on one just broke while taking it apart to wash the mask. No issues. These are perfect.

Having a mask when I need one, or not having it fall off the one ear upon which I have left if hanging was really inconvenient. Now I put my mask on in the morning, usually sitting comfortably around my neck and when someone comes to the door, or I go somewhere In the car I don't have that suddenly startled "oh no, I don't have a mask with me" feeling. I have it right there with me and I put it on.This mask holder is soft , comfortable, and the snaps are easy to use. It's also good for masks that are a little loose as it can be tightened and loosened easily. We've had these since July with no show of wear.I'm sorry to see that this item is no longer available.... I was about to buy several as stocking stuffers for friends and family how seem to have as much difficulty keeping track of their masks as I previously did.

I actually purchased this item to go with the vogmask that I already owned before the Coronavirus reached my country -- I own a vogmask due to chronic illness and allergies. This strap has been a lifesaver -- perhaps literally. It can be used on any mask that has straps that go over the ears and can be moved from one mask to another as needed. It keeps your mask tightly sealed on your face so your breaths don't escape the top or sides of the mask. It also helps prevent glasses fogging from exhalation -- which is super important for me! This is a great product worth the $8 price tag, and I wish it were more readily available for more customers who need it.

While I feel a head strap is necessary for the function of a vogmask, I feel this head strap does not offer the user the comfort needed from an item you may well be wearing daily.-- Sleeping, sitting with a headrest, or wearing a helmet The biggest inconvenience for me is primarily because I'm sleeping with the mask on at the moment. To attach at the sides, two hard snap-buckles attach to each other creating a small round 1/2" tall bump on each side behind your ears. The bead on the back used to tension the band is also an unpleasant 3/4" solid bump directly in the back of your head... so sleeping on either side, or your back is quite uncomfortable with this band.-- Strap placement In order to keep the ear ripper-offer's of the vog mask from performing their visceral duty, the head band has to be somewhat tight, and resting on the crown of your head so that the ear loops travel above and below the ear. If it slips, the loops painfully push against your ears, and the vogmask is no longer secured. When wearing a helmet, headphones, or otherwise jostling about, this tight single strap wants to creep down the back of your head making the vogmask uncomfortable and less effective.-- There's just way better solutions All this head strap is is a strap with a closeable loop on either end. Vogmask aren't the first people to need such an accessory, and there's a lot to choose from that will work equally well. In particular, SCUBA has a huge variety of strap accessories where hair-friendly materials like neoprene are common, almost all are very (if not completely with velcro) streamlined, and the part of the strap which wrests on the crown of your head is either extra wide, or is a split strap so that it can wrest on the top and bottom parts of the crown securing the strap in place.

A lot of money for This, but you do need it with the mask as the ear straps are not comfortable enough. If you have the money then get both.

Most re-usable masks only have one strap. But I believe that to fit properly and comfortably, they really need two straps: one that goes around the back of the head and one around the base of the neck. I was impressed that research shows Vogmasks achieve 95% filtration in real life subjects, while other re-usable mask competitors are generally way below that. These tests were presumably conducted using the standard over the ear setup, which I believe is uncomfortable and prevents a really tight fit.Very easy to setup. Simply loop the strapon around the original ear straps using the velcro to secure it. When I put it on, I ensure I have one strap going around my neck (at bottom of ear loop) and another one going around the back of my head (at top of ear loop). It took my a little while to get it to work that way, but when I did, I had a really secure seal and comfortable fit.Another great feature is that tightening the strap is as simple as pulling the strap through the beads at the back. I hate it how some straps are really confusing and difficult to adjust. But not with these straps.The straps are expensive, but in the long run, you save money when compared with disposable masks.I don't know exactly how well it works with my setup (I don't have the equipment to test it), but I think it could only work better than around the ears for providing an airtight seal. It certainly feels airtight on my face when secured this way.

Thé product Is verry what i expect....but thé delevry whas mot good at all ..the paccage whas left on the allway ...he did not even ring too my app he just let the paccage there ......so the product Is verry good but the delivery whas not good at all
