Q: Does it hold 400 or 250 lbs. It gives two different amounts?

I noticed that difference myself. I'm not sure, but I would bet it's the larger number. It seems to be quite solid and sturdy. We haven't had it put together in our shower very long, but I believe it will support 400 lbs. Hope this helps!
