I had to try several sizes to find the right pair for my wide feet and had to go up a size and half as these run small. I am glad I took a larger size to accommodate not only wide feet, but thicker socks and expanding feet later on if you've been walking all day. They did not rub as there was adequate room and my feet were never happier on hikes. I walked uphill, on slippery, rocky and sandy trails in the lovely Scottish Highlands without having to break them in and felt very comfortable and secure in them. Towards late afternoon, when my feet felt more snug inside them, they still did not rub. They're good looking too! These are wonderful boots at a very good price but could do with a bit more ankle support to make them perfect, hence 4 stars. They seem very robust and only time will tell if they stay so after more hikes. Right now, I can say I am delighted with them.

For hills or +20k steps city walking, completely comfortable without having to even wear them in. No blisters. Hardly know you’ve got them on. Highly recommend

Took awhile to try these on because I smashed my foot almost broke it but finally got to try them on and my god are they the comfiest boots ever. Such good quality , I’d say true to size but has a decent amount of room so your feet aren’t feeling crushed.

I was adamant I needed the Merrell MOAB and went to try them but found them to be stiff and drab.I bought these just because they were aesthetically pleasing and am so glad they turned out to be a great fit and comfy. They feel sturdy and surprisingly lightweight. They're also simply pretty 😍

I bought them last minute for trekking in Iceland because my old boots burst at the sole so I had no chance to break them in. I wore them for 6 days straight, 14 hours a day and I got very painful blisters on my little toes. After 5 days I developed blisters on the sides of my big toes too which I suspect was from trying to keep my weight off my little toes. Maybe if I'd had a chance to break them in it would have been different? As it was, I couldn't wait to get them off my feet.My heels and ankles were fine (they usually blister) and there's plenty of padding inside. Good ankle support and they kept my feet dry and warm the whole time.They do seem like good, well made boots. I just had an unfortunate experience with them.

I wore them straight away for a fundraising walk and they broke in very easily, very sturdy and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Love these hiking boots. Perfect fit, sturdy, protects the ankles. Great for any and all outdoor adventures. I used them while stomping around a farm and working with animals, hiking through the woods/light late season snow, and doing intense yard work around the house. The grip is great for hiking along slippery rocks, my feet feel comfortable and supported, and I absolutely love the bright orange color. Only challenging part is the laces come undone a lot, but tucking them in or double knotting seems to hold them well. If you’re unsure, get them!!!

Right out of the box these shoes were pure comfort! No breaking in necessary. I didn’t order the wide size because they were double the price (not on sale) even though I have wide feet and usually require wides. These shoes have a narrow heel and a wide toe box. I can slip them on without tying up to run outside quick and they act like they are tied up, they hold my heel in place without any slipping even when loose. I’m so impressed with these shoes, especially for the price I snagged them for! Impressed!

It's perfect for me, even in summer. Comfortable and nice ankle support. I took a half bigger regular size.
