Easy to use, fast confirmation of perimenopause
The information leaflet said that FSH is highest first thing in the morning, but I tried a strip straight away. The strips are small but not fiddly and they work in a similar way to a pregnancy test. (Looks highly unlikely I'll ever need one of those again going on my result!). A control mark confirms the test is working, and a second mark, if the same darkness as the control mark, confirms presence of sufficient FSH to be considered in perimenopause. Plenty of symptoms made me believe I was already, but it is good to have it actually confirmed with these test strips. I'll now do a few more tests at different times of the day / month, and then consider a visit to my GP. All in all, quick, easy to use, and seem to work. The only downside for me is the text is quite small, so the instructions had me squinting. All relevant to being a woman of a certain age, of course… hence the purchase!

Remember these are just testing levels and nothing else. Use it as a guide only. “The RCOG does not recommend using menopause self-test kits to detect menopause or perimenopause. These kits contain urine tests that measure levels of Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH), but do not accurately indicate if a woman is in menopause or perimenopause”

Easy@Home FSH Menopause Test
FSH urine testing is not a fool proof way to diagnose menopause or premenopause but they do give you a starting point to have a discussion with your doctor about pursuing further lab tests. Each strip is individually sealed and there is a very informative insert in the package describing what the test does, why you may want to use it, what to expect and how to interpret your result. My result showed instantly-I didn't even have to wait the recommended 10 minutes. I like that the box contains 10 test strips so that I can test myself throughout the month at varying hormonal levels and track my own results before heading to the doctor for confirmation or premenopause.

Did my research on the best day(s) to do the test. Quick and easy to use. And as I expected between peri and menopause. Inexpensive.but conclusive.
