This is the one. We love it!
My wife asked for a peep hole, because when somebody knocks on the door rings the doorbell we had no idea who it was. I did a bunch of research and based on the price the reviews, the credibility the company this seemed like the best option. From my perspective, it’s a tremendous value. Personally, I love the Brushed Oil tone and that it is pure brass. It was very easy to install but you have to make sure that you have a 5/8” drill bit to install it. It’s designed well and easy to install. There is a lip on each end and as an added benefit it covered up any minor wood tear out from drilling the hole. To help reduce tear out you can use painters tape or masking tape on the back side of the door. It may not eliminate wood tear out but it helps prevent some it.The view is legit crystal clear and the 200° view is better than than 220° because it looks better and less like a fish eye lens. The back privacy cover looks really sharp but is more decorative in my opinion. No one would be able to see thru the peep hole from the outside. It gives peace of mind to see who is on the other side of the door. Most of the time it’s salespeople and we don’t want to talk with them. Ha!

First time drilling a hole
Purchased peephole/door viewer for fiberglass front door. Used a 5/8 drill bit to install the door viewer. Ordered a few different drill bits trying to find one that would drill through the door. A 5/8 brad point drill bit by Bosch for wood, etc. did not work for the initial hole. It only left a small hole. A 5/8 twist drill bit by Dewalt for wood, etc. did not work. It left a slightly deeper hole than the Bosch but still a very small hole. Another 5/8 drill bit was too big for my drill and was exchanged for a 5/8 spade drill bit by Spyder. The Spyder 5/8 spade drill bit left the 5/8 ring around the door but didn’t drill through the door. I ended up using one of the smaller drill bits that came with my drill to widen the small hole that was left by the other drill bits. I kept the drill bit going until it reached the exterior side of the door and then continued moving the drill around in a circular motion until it was the size of the ring left on the door by the other drill bit. I repeated this on the exterior side of the door. The completed project looked great but it was a lot of work trying to find the right type of drill bit for the door and I consulted with the associates at my local hardware store along the way. I think you will probably do best, if you have a fiberglass door, to use a smaller drill bit first to make the initial hole and then use any of the other 5/8 drill bits to continue with the hole. I came across an article that suggested this after I completed the project.

Fit right, easy to install
It was frustrating not finding a peephole the same size as the old one, so I had to bore the hole bigger. But other than that, it was easy to install and works well. Much much better than the scratched up old one. And very affordable!

Not Sure About 220 Degrees
During renovations, I wanted a new peephole to replace a 45-year old smaller version in a metal door. I chose this one because my carpenter didn't have to do much drilling through metal to make it fit the original hole, but it provides for a much larger range of view. I like the cover that prevents peeping from the outside in. The clarity of the glass is also much better. And the black finish makes for a sleek, clean look.
