This Bidet is fantastic
This bidet is fantastic. The installation was extremely easy and the instructions were carefully described to the "Tee". The seat was very comfortable (semi-flat) even though the unit rises 4.1 inches to allow for all the mechanisms. We had to return one other manufacturer's bidet prior to this as the back end of the seat had a "bump" which interfered with our tailbones. Not all anatomy's are the same but this one was perfect. All the features and functions were perfect. This bidet does not have automatic lid open or flush functions so the next level (S7A) will need to be purchased. I'm struggling to find/write "Con" items but the only thing I can say is the price tag isn't the cheapest but there's a lot of R&D that went into the design that makes this bidet successful. The warranty is only 1 year where as most other manufacturers are 3 years.

Best Toto Washlet I’ve purchased! Wish light had dimmer though
Love! This is the 5th bidet I’ve purchased (replacing the only non-Toto I bought - which I immediately regretted). Of the 3 different models we have (one x2), this is the best yet! The controls are much clearer and easier to use and it is just a beautiful seat. Easy to install, too. The only thing I wish it had was a dimmer on the side light. I like it, personally, but my partner does not. So I covered it with a little piece of blue tape to make it a little less bright. Great purchase!

Reluctantly got this for spouse with Alzheimers
I never wanted a bidet but my wife's Alzheimer's and increasing hostility with caretakers (me) put me between a rock and a hard place so I bit the bullet and went for this top of the line S7. Been using it for a week or two now and I got to say it has been pretty life changing. Not necessarily for me personally, although it is growing on me with each use, but because its allowed to me insure a basic level of hygeine for my wife while avoiding her hostility that came with me having to do it myself. I know nothing works forever with this disease, but the bidet has certainly been a big help. As far as the S7 goes....I can't imagine how they'd make it any better other than simplifying the remote control. Remote's pretty complicated, but that's because it's a complicated and top of the line model. It does it all and I'm rapidly joining the cult of bidet followers. As far as install goes, please listen to me...I don't recommend trying to decipher the catalog thick instruction manual...it'll just intimidate and confuse you. I'm a handy/mechanical guy and I read it 3 times before scratching my head. Fortunately, I just googled the model number on you tube and found an 11 minute video that showed how easy it actually was. Seriously, no harder than replacing any toilet seat plus a t valve to screw into the water line...plug it in and you're all done. Flawless. P.S. I saw a lot of reviews about buying an additional plumbing part for an adapter to lower the connections or something...I bought it since it was only 6 bucks just in case but my toilet absolutely didn't need any extra parts. This install was SMOOTH and FAST. Great job by Toto on this model.

Excellent
This was an upgrade for me from another brand that was 1/4 the price. The prior bidet worked ok, but had major limitations. To start, it had a much larger housing, which meant a short seat. Structurally, it had several surface seams, as well as hard-to-reach-yet-exposed areas, that made it awkward to clean (thus the main reason I sprung for this model). The drying fan was meh: its aim was off, and it drew air from the bowl instead of the room. The only thing I miss about the old bidet was the blue nightlight in the bowl. This Toto washlet is sleek. The housing is half the height, and about 30% less deep as other models. This makes for a much more comfortable seat, although it's ironically a little too narrow now. I don't want it to automatically open & close for me, so I'm very happy I could still get all the other features. In fact, most of the features are fantastic and work as well as, or better than, expected. My only criticism is the nightlights. I don't know why it has one on the outside, nor why the inside light will only turn on for sitting, not standing. Customs, I suppose?

Great quality and okay features.
After using this for several months I wanted to give an honest review. While I have respect for Toto, I question some of the design decisions. This offers a lighted bowl but only if you program it and you have to lift the cover then the seat. There is a light on the side that detects when you are there. Why can't the bowl light do that. The heated seat has a dot that you can't remove. It's the sensor. The heated water and flexible aim is a nice feature. Some of the less expensive models have all of these same features. Over all it works great but I regret buying this model when the much cheaper ones have the same features. This one is nothing special.

Well worth the price.
Our second and third of these. Installed the first on a house we sold and liked it so much we bought two more for the one we built. It works as advertised and the price is not too much for the quality and functionality. We won’t be without. I wait to get home.

I didn't think I would like it as much as I do - it's pretty awesome.
Figured I would wing it and try something new, wanted to get one of the best on the market and if I didn't like that, well I know it's not for me. Firstly, the incline in the back portion of the bidet didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. The heated seat is probably one of the most appreciated features with it being winter and cold outside. The remote is simple to use. Install was quick and easy, no leaks using the provided hardware. The cover does slightly lean forward due to the exiting toilet's tank, but nothing too noticeable; the lid doesn't push it into my back or anything. The dryer works well enough as does the heated water. With the self-clean and bowl misting, the toilet is cleaner with less effort on my part too. With this bidet, you'll be clean faster and more comfortable while doing it. While it is pretty expensive ***more than most people would be comfortable with*** I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it!

Not Worth the price
Not worth the price. The automatic air deodorizer is not really necessary because it does not work very well. The warm-air dryer is also disappointing—it does not dry you unless you are willing to sit on the toilet for quite a while. You also cannot set the temperature too high because the air can get uncomfortably hot. As for the pre-mist feature, I personally do not see the point of paying extra for water when it does not make a significant difference. My husband actually dislikes this feature. Compared with other bidets I have used, this one is also more expensive without offering enough additional benefits to justify the price. The one thing I do like is that it is less bulky. Overall, I think this bidet is better suited for someone who does not mind spending a little more time sitting on the toilet and using additional water. For me, the extra features are simply not worth the higher price.
