This item arrived safe and well packaged.This fishing reel is made of real tough stuff! The crackled black and red design looks fantastic! The different combination of materials is perfect for being lightweight and very hard wearing.I am only an amateur fisherman, so cannot give a fantastic perspective, but I can tell you how it feels to use... and it was lightweight, smooth and gave me great confidence in my reeling technique.I highly recommend this product.

This is a good beginner's wheel as it is pretty straight forward to use and it is light, but seems quite sturdy at the same time.My gf will be using this a lot going forward

Small and compact but a good quality and affordable choice for a reel.Lightweight and easy to hold, perfect for my son who is showing a budding interest in fishing with his grandad.I imagine it won't last years and years as a much more expensive one would but it is perfect for someone wishing to explore fishing as a hobby without breaking the bank

first the good news, its light and does have a good clutch and even the free wheel you can adjust,but there is one big problem and that the plastic reel foot, I cant expect this part to last long, maybe if it was metal then the star rating would have been higher

Light weight reel and pretty decent for the price point. Those used to higher end well known brands will spot the obvious quality differences, but this still has a lot to offer for the more budget conscious anglers.-I accepted this reel for review with my sons in mind. My husband has great quality – and expensive - gear and would likely not want to swap out any of it for cheaper brands, but I asked him to give this reel a far and honest review, anyway.- The build quality is carbon like and gives off a very plastic feel. Despite this it still feels reasonably well made and we were pleasantly surprised at the look and feel given the price point.-The reel is actually very responsive – this scored the most points with my husband. It is also smooth and easy to use. We thought it would make it ideal for beginners and people who want something to get their teens started off.-The line capacity is very generous – more so than some of the more expensive brands. Casting experience was also a pleasant surprise – all positive and worked as you would expect.-Overall, great for the price point.
