Better price and quality than kamui
Always tried to find a replacement for kamui and this is it. Very good chalk, last a lot longer. Depending on speed or calculated play and a well scuffed tip, realistically you could go 3-5 shots before you need to chalk.

Best chalk I've found
Excellent chalk. Doesn't leave residue all over the table. Applies smoothly and stays on the tip for multiple shots.

An upgrade from other chalks
This is the best chalk on the market I've tried so far. I've tried many other brands and favor this chalk. This is basically the same as the Pyro from what I can see. I'm sure Taom will say it's different, but I don't see any big difference. One of these Taom chalk will last about 4X longer than Masters from my experience. It's a very clean chalk. If you don't lose it, it's worth the money in my opinion.

V10 is excellent chalk, but...
Love Taom V10 and have been using it for about 9 months. It is very clean and has great staying power on the tip. If you are new to V10 I would suggest you thoroughly clean and scuff you tip before application. V10 does not always seem to hold well if you have other (Master) chalk on your tip. Not such an issue with some of the other premium chalks. The only other thing I would bring into the discussion is the V10 I purchased from Beer City Billiards. I'm sure it is not their fault. The new V10 I received from Beer City seems grittier than my original V10 I purchased from another supplier. Maybe Taom changed something. Maybe my original chalk has changed with use. Don't know but it still works just as well and is just as clean. Clean is the reason I moved away for Master chalk. Master isn't the same formula it was 40 some years ago. Oh, and my original V10 is still going strong. I just needed one for home use so I don't forget it at league night again. lol

Jury still out for now
Yes, Masters is messy, on table, cue, cue ball, hands, etc. I bought one piece of V10 from Beer City and it is a very clean playing chalk compared to Masters. Based on another review, perhaps I have made a mistake of using Masters sometimes along with the V10. I always have Masters sitting around my home table and generally leave the V10 in my cue case for league play. Another reviewer said it seems you need to clean all of the Masters off your tip, because the V10 does not seem to adhere as well to the Masters chalk as it does to a clean tip. I have had this experience, so I am going to remove all my other chalks from my case and my home table and make myself only use this V10 over the following months. I hope that this will cure my occasional miscues with the V10. I do like how clean it plays, but it is expensive. Too expensive for miscues during league play. The Jury is still out.

The best chalk
Taom is my favorite chalk, goes on smooth and stays on tip , like the way it doesn’t leave a bunch residue on cloth or cue ball…..
User
Taom V10 great
Great chalk
User
Tacky

FAKE
It fake guys, do not buy, I've used several Taom chalks before, I saw this ad and thought I would save some money this time but it was too good to be true
User
Good quality chalk
This chalk leaves almost no residue on the table which was my main reason for purchasing. I also find that I’m using way less and getting several good shots before needing to rechalk. Overall great value.

Played 3 rack of 9 ball 1 time chalking
Well heard about that chalk and all the good thing about it. It fit exactly the descriptions and expectations. As I have a habit of forgetting to chalk and this help. Played 3 rack of 9 ball with only 1 time chalking. It dummy proof made like me. Table stayed clean no chalk dust. Don’t have to rubbed hard on the tip. Soft rubbed get the chalk all over the tip. Stick to the tip. No chalk mark on the ball. Me and my buddy we use the same chalk and does not need to clean the table after that,

Worth it!
One block costs the same as 24 blocks of ordinary chalk, so is it worth it? Well, yes it is! No chalk powder everywhere, sticks well to the cue tip, and gives a very good control of the cue ball! This is now my regular snooker chalk. I also like it being round instead of the usual square shape.
