Replaced my delonghi cafe corsa machine which gave up the ghost after 6 years. Lovely machine, much quieter than my old machine. I bought the model with the mil resevoir but tbh I have a separate frother and found that the milk attachment while it works didn't do as good a job as my separate frother so I wont be using that. Great machine, very good price too at under £300.

I really enjoy the coffee I get from mine. It is really easy to use - it takes a bit of time investment up front to get the settings just right (for me, getting it to fill our mugs to the right level). And it does take a bit of time every couple of months to go through the descaler process. But it doesn’t seem too much effort. There are better milk frother options but this is so easy that the convenience wins. I’ve tried a variety of machines and methods, maybe 20% more faff than a pod machine but easily 70% better coffee.

Really difficult to recommend this coffee machine. It looks nice, simple to use fairly easy to maintain and clean but I cannot get a decent mug of coffee out of it. I've tried all different types of coffee beans, max aroma, max temperature, turned the grinder setting all the way up and it just tastes watered down no matter what with a slight metallic taste. It also wastes a lot of water, the tank is 2l but it will not use the bottom portion of the tank and every time you turn it on and off it sends water out I assume to rinse the pipes out, not sure why they didn't just set it to do this once. Also just before it dispenses the coffee it sends a small amount of hot water into the mug watering it down even more. For what this cost I'm massively disappointed, I wanted to give it a chance so I've lived with it for a while now but I cannot recommend it.

Instruction sheet contains no valid input being hand drawn diagrams that do not indicate what is happening. only fills a mug 3/4 full reservoir holds only enough for 2 part full mugs of cappuccino or one part full cup of coffee. milk container holds enough for only 2 part full mugs. cleaning is a chore. water filter makes the hot water taste of bleach. ask for an expresso you get less than 5 ml. ask for a coffee and you get 1/2 a cup of water with an aftertaste of scalded coffee. in fact have thrown mine in bin after only trying 10 cups. wont return it because they might sell it to some other poor sap.

Have now been using this coffee for 6 months and ready to share my thoughts... This machine is fine for making a very standard coffee, the temperature is fine, the sizes are good, but is a lot more limiting than our previous machine: 1. You cannot froth/steam milk outwith making a cappuccino so can't use it to heat milk for a matcha latte, for example. 2. You cannot make a double espresso with ground coffee, only a single, for some reason. We also often find that the used coffee grounds end up all over the inside of the machine and it's a nightmare to clean. The machine also doesnt know when there aren't enough coffee beans left and still ploughs ahead with the coffee which you then have to pour out.

Purchased different brand first and it broke within a week! This machine is so easy to set up, easy to use and very easy to clean! Great tasting coffee and perfect temperature too. Easy to adjust coffee size and taste. Very happy indeed!!

My previous coffee machine lasted 5years. So I can say I have some experience in using it. This one was straightforward to set up, even without using instruction. Everything was shown on the main screen. A bit of a problem with the filter is that it tends to go upside down and needs to place it back inside again. When turning it on, I need to wait for x s, then water needs to go through to make a quick clean down, then coffee can be made. For people in a rush it is not comfortable to get asap coffee when needed. It turns off auto after 15min, so can't be turned on all the time also. Max ml of single coffee is 212.59ml, can't make it to give more. My coffee cup has 300ml so that not enough, so I'm making x2 medium 232.97ml + bit of milk make it perfect fit. Hot water and coffee temperature is around 80celcius, hot enough to drink it after a while. But when adding milk it is not very hot, it needs to be drinked straight after or it will be completely cold. Making cappuccino is easy, put some milk in and wait. If it is not enough cappuccino it can be adjusted for more on max settings. A lot of settings can be done when it is off and pressing each option for 3s then to confirm setup press stop, start button. Small TIP to adjust the drink volume: 1. To adjust the highest quantity setting, press and hold the icon of the drink you want to adjust for 3 seconds. 2. Press the start/stop button. 3. Press the start/stop button again when the cup contains the desired quantity of coffee or milk. - mostly used for more milk in cappuccino. Video shows a drink chart, Philips doesn't have one and they don't include it anywhere. Machine is simple to use, it has some pluses and minuses. More pluses, but some of the minuses can be problematic for others. So it is good to read reviews before getting that perfect coffee machine that will be at Your home for the next few years.

Coffee is so much better with a touch of a button, just fill with beans and water and your done.
