CPC Practice Exam 2018-2019: CPC Practice Test Questions for the Certified Professional Coder Exam

This product states to be a study guide for the 2018-19 CPC exam but is completely outdated using ICD-9 codes! Was very disappointed when I started working the practice exam.

The cover is the only thing updated. This book still has ICD-9 codes. Don't waste your money!!

This product states practice exam 2018-2019 it has icd-9 codes in it. Those expired back in October 2015!.. It has only questions re medical terminology in it and no operative reports that are like on the test.. There are questions on it like where is the hypertension table located in the "icd-9-cm manual (we are in ICD-10-cm). there are no questions like this on the test. They should really revamp this book and go back to the CPC study guide that AAPC puts out and go by questions like that. They need actual coding scenarios on patients to help people with this test along with the full rational.

This book still have the ICD-9-CM questions and codes. The book should be updtated . I will not buy a book from that Publisher again.

This was a waste of $30. A study guide for a coding exam with no coding questions? This didn’t prepare me for the exam whatsoever. The type of questions covered in this practice exam only make up about 10% of the CPC exam.

I wish I would have read reviews first, there are good medical terminology questions like another person online here said they were very LAZY by not updating codes. Too bad, I would not recommend because they did not care enough to even update the book. Just looking for money I guess!

A lot of helpful questions...BUT there are ICD-9-CM manual questions in this book. They never updated it. Lazy.
