what is it scaled down to approximately?

Lego scale is quite often a mystery. In this instance, the length of the actual vehicle in reality is 333.4 inches according to John Deere's website. The model overall length is 21 inches so that equates to a scale of 1:15. Roughly it's 1:15.87 but that's a small difference. But if you use the height measurements it's a different ratio. Height over cab is 136 inches and the model is roughly 8 inches height over cab so the ratio 1:17. It's a mixed bag as you can see but at 21 inches or nearly 2 feet long it's a good sized build. Bought this as a gift for my dad and he loved it. He was like a little kid again. It was fun for him to assemble and there are some hydraulics that actually function and mimic real life machinery movement. Definitely an investment piece at this price but was worth it.
